moi waiting for more bad news first 😅
Actually a lot are short trades I think. Today open I get filled liao the type is Auction and usually just before 0900 open. Then think lunch time maybe Auction again. So you can see Buy Sell Auction three types of trade. Auction usually anyhow sell which I think is SGX force selling trades not paid for?

You use old brokers app can see more. Newer brokers app some of those info not shown.

That is what I am doing. I believe these are contra traders. They buy a lot and near to T+3 due date no monies pay so SGX force sell to recoup and also penalty them. New brokers use pre-fund so not affected but old brokers all allow contra. Buy first pay later.

Similarly shortist need to buy to deliver what they sell to ppl. If they don't do SGX buy at whatever price to fulfill what they sold to others and also penalty them.

UST bond yields should drop. SREITs should rally.
This current move (UST bond yield rally, USD rally) is fake move to clear stops and build the launch base for the real move in the opposite direction when FOMC announce their next 25bps rate cut tomorrow.

By next week, if I'm wrong, I'll eat humble pie.

If you believe Donald Trump will save America, you buy UST bonds, so yields must fall.
Therefore, SREITs must rise. I'm digging into my spare cash to buy FCT.

Imo 10y yield will rise further and then drop to 3%
I think the UST 10y yield already peaked at 4.5%.
Now, all that is left is for Fed to cut rates at the short end down to 3%, thus normalising the entire yield curve. If the Federal govt is cutting spending, then Powell has the freedom to cut as much as he needs without worrying about US inflation spiking up again.
