Genting FAQ - Part 2

Well, to each his own loh. Initially, I also thought that taking the plane back is quite troublesome but once you get the hang of it, it's really not too bad. For me, the positives outweigh the negatives so that is my usual mode back from Genting nowadays.

What you mentioned I agreed are the negatives.

The main positive is of cos you save a lot of time. If I fly back, if I take the 2.30 flight, I can be home by 5 pm. And I don't have to worry about traffic along the NS highway or the congestion at the checkpoint. If you take the bus back, you probably have not reached Yong Peng by 5pm.

You can also opt to take a bus from Awana direct to KLIA2 without needing to go to KL Sentral first. Overall, taking the bus + KLIA express is about 30mins faster all-in.

Anyway, to each his own. It's good we have many travel options to come back from Genting. Was looking for the upcoming HSR until kenna delayed (I think 60% will probably be canceled in the end)

Must see where u stay, I stay in west, I have try both, WTS so far best, if I come back on Monday to Thursday the bus pick up from 1215 and I can reach my house 1930-2000, but if I take plane which so all the way to east and I need to go west which is longer time for me.

And take bus can stop at yong Peng to buy stuff back, which I like it.

Solitaire leaves 2.30pm. Still too much time.

I always wake up 9 or 10am then check out, throw the bag into counter take a ticket (if free setvices) then go inside casino eat free and play a few hand then come back hotel to take bag and walk to bus later.

Oh ya, member going in for short holiday can buy this SIM card, I use at Genting very good, just put in any extra phone and share the wifi for you singapore phone to use, and no expired date, everytime u want how big the data or unlimited also very cheap, don’t throw the card after u take, can use forever, just need to Whatapp to add $$$

Unlimited data for 3 days $10 only,if want longer can take to the seller, also very cheap

That's a fair pt. I did not factor in this matrix. It's true that if you stay in the West, it will take longer for you to reach home from the airport.

Oh well. Like I said, to each his own. Not trying to sway anyone into taking a plane back. Just presenting an alternative for those who may not have thought before about flying back.

The 10GP will not take away from you, after you print the point still with you. so u just clock 10GP can print lucky draw and 3GP meal but this 3GP will take away from you

马蹄酥，豆沙饼 at yong Peng is nice, I always buy 3-4 pack at once...

I usually buy at Genting so that can pack into hard luggage and no need to handcarry.

Personal opinion but the 马蹄酥，豆沙饼 at Genting really CMI.

The ones near Gohtong Jaya (that the WTS bus stop) best. Yong Peng has 2 places selling 马蹄酥，豆沙饼.The one that WTS stops at is better.

The one that Transtar stops (near Batu Cave and Yong Peng) are also pretty good.

I like the Batu Cave 豆沙饼 because it's big!

After you buy the card, the information will be together, seller got sg number and bank account

Ya.., that why I always take WTS and can order otah and 麻子， both also nice, then hor the yong Peng got the peanut cake also very cheap, almost half price if I buy at singapore...

Then WTS stop at half hill that shop 肉干 not bad & cheap

If u compare the price u will not buy from Genting

And for your information, yong Peng they make 马蹄酥 & 豆沙饼 is freshly make there, sometime just out from oven.

All Transtar coach stops at the same place I think. Regardless I took the premium or solitaire, all would stop there. But I haven't taken Transtar coach back for at least a year but would think it's the same arrangement.

If got chance, I recommend you go try the shop at Gothong Jaya. Just try the sample if you dun want to buy and see if your non-fussy mouth can taste the difference or not.
