What is the best way to go up Genting to first world from kl twin tower at around 5pm?

Can take grab or uber?
4 person with no luggages

I took grab went up already.

The first world room has no wifi and no mobile network. Using digi now. Is there another service that is faster?

Only first world y5 got free wifi unless u on a lower end room then no
But at lobby your digi got network ?

U using digi got or not network or is slow ?
When I asked Genting they say maxis or celcom but rooms not able to confirm

Low budget lor Genting want us to spend more

Yes. Hotel wise is Maxims and Genting Grand confirm got 4G+/4G. I normally use my 4G data in Hotel cause the Wifi too slow.

Some part of SkyAvenue and SkyCasino will fall back to H+. But still got internet. I not too sure for FWH and Resort Hotel. Generally, Maxis have better coverage. I actually switched from U Mobile as the coverage at SkyAvenue/SkyCasino is terrible (stuck at E).

Generally, the old casino side (Monte Carlos, Hollywood, Circus Palace) all got good coverage.

gave up waiting for free room...booked with GP for 2 Y5 Deluxe room. Bloody genting getting too stingy.... anyway, will not visit them till next year after this trip...

Just came back from KL / genting. Bought this for myr $900 Can be use for pc and living room tv.

Maybe first world too Ulu and too high in the cloud

Just an update. The reception is only bad in the room. Using digi.
If you do a wifi scan, cannot see wifi spots at all. Meaning most likely nobody has any network.

The corridor is okay especially at the spots where the potable hot/cold water top up area are. Reception is full.
But for the corridor area directly outside the room, the reception is still quite bad,but can still can some signal.

The trick is I aim my spare phone through the toilet towards the corridor. Managed to get few bars and use the phone as a hot spot for wifi.

I suspect they have a jammer just outside the door and aim in. :o
