Hi mates, does anyone know how much does it cost to cab from KL sentral to genting and the estimated travelling time? Tks.

Rm100 mpv taxi beside genting counter at 2nd floor. But dunno price got increase or not.

Ty, Most imptly I hope these regulated taxis are serviced regularly to ensure a safer drive uphill, how about downhill? Is there also a specific counter at first world or resort? Pardon my qns as I'm bringing elderlies.

I took a cab from the airport to Genting last year. Bought the coupon from the counter, and out at the driveway were a few of their cabs. The first driver approached by their staff rejected going up to Genting, then a second younger one stepped forward.

I'd say they'll also not want to drive all the way up if they're not confident that their cab can make it up safely, whether it's the cab breaking down resulting in a lost of income for many more hours, or others. It's even a struggle for that young driver that we nearly asked him to take a break somewhere. But he managed to get us there safely without a break so we decided to tip him enough for him to stay there for a small meal.

I'd suggest going to the proper counters for such transport, not to just any who offers the cheapest rate.

take a cable car to the low station and get a ticket from the bus counter...I think 3+RM? One way. They will drop you at KL sentral

Just came back from Genting. The XYZ Deluxe is good stuff. nice & clean. I stayed at Tower 2 Level 5.
Heard from the counter staff Tower 2a has very little XYZ Deluxe, most of them is XYZ Triple.
