Hi, is checking in for XYZ Deluxe automated or manual counter check in?

Now you cannot check in at counter anymore. every check-in is done thru machine.
If you want to check in at counter, you have to pay additional charges.

Check In thru machine and change room or view = RM15.

Walk around the whole premises, relax here and there, sit down watch others gamble, sit down drink coffee, eat some food from here and there. Still bored? Go buy a phone or tablet to play around.

I won't recommend staying there for more than 3D2N if you don't gamble, unless you plan to make side trip/s to KL in between.

Was there last year after quite a long time, found it alright. A good break if you've enough $ to spend there, "doing next to nothing".

3D2N is good enough if you dont intent to gamble. my group and I did a 1day KL Trip to shop & makan.

Eg.

Day 0: Overnight Bus to Genting
Day 1: Check In, Sleep, Arcarde, Buffet, Casino Visit.
Day 2: KL
Day 3: Check Out & Go Home.

That's it.

2) Is there a mushroom farm somewhere near Genting Highlands? If yes, anything to see or do over there?

i will be leaving genting to go to KL on a day where cable car will be closed on maintenance. so suay.

on the wbsite, it says there is a replacement shuttle bus plying Genting Skyway Complex (Level T1) and Genting Grand ( and vice versa ) but it also says "Passengers are advised to queue at Genting Skyway’s Genting Highlands Station to board the Skyway Shuttle Bus to Genting Skyway Complex".

so where do i board the shuttle bus? at Genting Highlands Station or at Genting Grand?

from Genting Skyway Complex, where do i go to buy a bus ticket to KL? isit the Lower Genting Skyway Station at B4? so this B4 place is same bldg as the Skyway Complex?

WTS bus dep sin very early around 0530 hrs while Transtar more expensive but dismount at resorts B-5 .

First time coming to Genting by myself and first time in 10 yrs+. Just reached today 4am+ with Konsortium. I called WTS and Trans, both don't allow me to change return dates if I wanted the 2D1N package price. Paid $139. Suprisingly, the coach went all the way to First World lobby.

Immediately went to get my Silver Card and completed the registration for the upcomig poker tourney. Had plenty of time to burn and nothing to do, so I hit the casinos.

Roulette
Min only 20rm on even bets. I went back in at 230pm just to check the difference and it is still 20rm on even bets. It says 20/20/20.

Progressive Texes Holdem
Played this till 9am+. Min 25rm Ante.
First time playing this casino game and loved it!
Played "heads up" with the dealer and then people started joining.
Seems like a beatable game since people were sharing card info openly.
Got dealt quad Queens on my first hand. But I did not buy bonus or jackpot. Those are sucker bets. So none of that for me.
Ran it up 375rm, almost covering my buy in for the tourney.
Will probably be back for this tonight after the crowd dwindles. Any poker players wanna join me?

Baccarat
Was at 100rm when I was there in the morning.
Increased to 200rm when I went back to check at 230pm.

Mary Brown is 20rm for a 2 piece meal! First meal at Genting. Not impressed. Any suggestions?

Everywhere is so crowded, so i'm heading to watch Tomorrowland now. 20rm includes free popcorn, snack and drink! Now that's a deal I like!

yep! you'll be able to see the carpark entrance, walk into the carpark and find the lift that brings you down to the bus station.

I thought the bus would stop right outside the Skyway Station B1. Waited silly until some unker told me that the bus station is below - and it was 5 mins to departure time. Ran into the carpark area and chionged down. Didn't bother to find the lift thus I can't advise you on that

Played progressive texas holdem in First World. Don't wanna walk so far.

Hot! I could feel myself starting to pespire after walking to monte carlo for the tournament. No need for cold wear. I did not even use a blanket at night.
