I drove at 200kmh until the haze blocked me and make me bery scared. So I reduce to 150-160. If you drive at 100kmh, I think you will only reach genting after 5-6 hours.

For me safety comes first lol.
Can deal with 6 hours but not a one way ticket to heaven.
But thats just me. Kiasee one...

yea, safety comes first. i think 150 still acceptable bah, maybe bcos i am using 20 inch 275 wide tyres. anyways theres this sg plate hyundai that zoom past me while i was doing 150, in the haze somemore, that one really asking for it. hahaha

When i frequent genting in the past few years, usually drive @ 170-200km/h. Rest every 1hr+ for a short 5mins to stretch legs & freshen up - stay alert. Now with new members in the family, cant go casino as frequent.

Am thinking of going up to genting this weekend by coach.

Should I exchange sgd to ringgit before I go up, or change when I'm at Genting hotels?

Best to change sgd to ringgit before you go to genting.

Cos if you wan to change there at Genting, you will get lower rate at around 2.87 or 2.88 against here for 3.05.

First thing, check in hotel and put your luggage in your room.

Take note Casino do not allow people to bring bulky items. And there is not much to do there even shops are not open. Only few shop are 24 hrs - Hainan Kitchen and Starbucks are located in first world plaza.

There is not much people there at Casino after 4am onwards.Lot of people will come to casino mostly after breakfast at around 9am plus.

There is 2 casino. Nearest one is at First World Casino and other one is quite far near Genting Grand even need to walk to there-about 15 to 20 mins.

Just wear proper clothing including jackets if you feel cold. Wear shoes too.

Just call them and let them know of your late checkin.... no issue with 4am checkin at all...

always go after work on friday and reach there around 1-2am.....

think i know what you mean, nope you cant do such checkin without paying for that day

for example, if yougoing to this friday after work, arriving around 1-2am Sat morning.... you need to book fri and sat, or else you can hang around your hotel till sat afternoon checkin then.... IMO, its more tiring... hotels are cheap there, either you use GP redeem or pay....

Actually i tried a few times checking in quite early around 7am. they count it one day, no extra charges.

thats possible too if they have existing empty rooms and you are under certain scheme

Heya All.. Intend to go Genting in Dec. Just checked out Grassland's website. Can choose whether to alight at Mushroom Farm or FWH Lane 3. Which one is closer to the hotel? Coz i dun wanna alight and yet take another transport to FWH
