Free style Gaming is via their tablet or computer touchscreen monitor to access different Gaming table / roulette to place bets. ETG is via the big electronic Gaming stations to place bets. VIP is for play in Gold and Platinum areas.

did u all read this? i cant post any link yet as i m new but the gist is:

berita harian ran a story about an express bus driver who was unaware that he was ferrying a passenger who had been dead for three hours.
Apparently, the 50-year-old Singaporean tourist died of a heart attack during the journey to Genting Highlands on Saturday.
All the passengers, including his relative who had travelled with him, got down from the bus when they arrived at their hotel.
When the relative realised that he had not got off the bus, he went back to the vehicle.
“The relative tried to wake him up.
“It was then they realised that the man was not conscious,” said Bentong district police chief Supt Yusuf Unis.
It is believed that the man was still alive when the bus made a stop at the rest area in Melaka.

enjoy but live healthily

btw 1st time here. like the genting updates.

No need hope. Confirm maintain silver :D

Go whack this month!

Hi Paul,

I did a search but no avail. Realize I didn't ask most important aspects!

1. If we get lucky and win big in casino, how do we bring the money back to SG.
2. Is our winnings taxable? Do we need to declare?

I read that you can tell genting side to give you a cheque in SGD? And this cheque can be put into our SG bank? Like DBS etc.
Also read that it is not taxable if its SG casino. But not sure about genting?

Can send some links too, I can read it up.

Thanks for replying me in advance
Cheers!

You mean take from Awana?

The links for all the express bus operating from Awana is >> https://www.rwgenting.com/getting-here/express-bus/

To go Bukir Bintang, the easiest way is to take bus to KL Sentral. Then take the new MRT (SBK Line) direct to Bukit Bintang.

The monorail is another way but the frequency is quite bad. The SBK line is a good 10-15mins walk from the bus drop off point. But the frequency is fast.

Thanks for the link, I saw that during my google search previously. But since it was from 2009, not sure if anything changed since then

if in doubt, always go through the red channel or find an officer to ask before going through green channel.

I read that winnings are considered captial gains, singapore does not practice captial gain tax thus we do not need to pay but it is still better to go through red channel.

Take note: Don’t need to pay but still need to declare.

Genting express is only at selected destinations.
The nearest to Bukit Bintang would be at KL Sentral.

Note that there is only one bus for every one hour or so ...
If u reach early, there might be chances where the next bus is fully booked.
you have to book the next timing ... Especially during weekends ...
