Thanks so much for this offering. Really appreciate. I have sent a email to genting customer service that I was a silver member but now a classic member. I request them to upgrade my membership to silver so that I can do this booking. I will wait a few days for their reply first. Will update you privately if I really need your help. Thanks

True..the cool weather is a plus point for visiting Genting.Last visit in end 2019 too

Realised that my 2 elders silver card have been terminated...cant even access online anymore.So need to reapply during the next visit.

Can or cannot book room during certain period actually depending on individual "playing profile" not much to do with yr card color...eg. an active classic card holder/ visitor to Genting will hv more room availabilities even compared to an inactive silver/gold card member...after u hv "restarted" yr post covid visit then yr subsequent months will hv not just available rooms for booking but oso better complimentary entitlements.

Thus, no need frust over yr card tier level. Silver card not tat difficult to attain.

Just to let you know that 23 Jul Deluxe room is already fully booked. Now only left with standard and Y5D.

Don't go for standard. Standard is the cheapest of all room type. Need to go out and get water at the designated places.

Y5D at tower 3. A bit farther to walk though still manageable if you know the shortcut. Got wifi (could be weak) but no view because windows face other rooms.

Between the 2, Y5D better. If you can get Y5 triple better. Window facing outside.

You can go websites like agoda or tripadvisor to see pictures people post

Oh. I remembered my deluxe got kettle years ago. Now no more ? My last few trips pre pandemic was at Y5 triple or Resorts.

I have not stayed in deluxe room post pandemic so I do not know whether the kettle is still there. Usually I will still get water from outside even if kettle is available rather than from the tap in the room.

Tap water is definitely not filtered. If tap water is good, why would they need to install extra water points outside the room?

From some room tours I viewed on YouTube, not all Y5 Triple rooms face outside. There are 4 rows of Y5 Triple:

Lift Lobby​

If your Row 4 room is high enough to not being blocked by staff hostel, you get to see Genting Grand and Theme Park.

Without paying extra to choose view upon check-in, securing Y5 Triple doesn't guarantee what you see outside. In my last visit staying at FWH Standard Double, all add-on options were greyed out. Probably checked in too late until good rooms fully snapped.
