There were no strawberries when I tried to visit in June. Nothing interesting in its vicinity. The farms at Cameron Highlands are definitely better.
Do they really have the flowers shown in the video like the lavender garden ?

I did not enter the farm in June, but I managed to see blooming flowers, though not abundant, from the outside. You will not have all the flowers blooming all the time.

Would you know how to go there if no car ? Is it far from Genting ?

Been having Beef KuayTeow at Grandmama.
It is Thick Gravy Beef Hor Fun. very filing lot for me.

Another dish, The Nasi Ayam Istimewa with blue butterfly pea flower color kinda turn me off, and chicken thigh may look big, but dont look appetizing. But the rendang beef and sauteed prawn + curry gravy look good. 3-meat combo may be appealling to many. (Link to pic: https://grandmamas.com.my/menus/nasi-ayam-istimewa/ )

The cafe near Tower 3 hotel elevator offer better budget-priced bfast menu. Always long queues around 8am.

If you had poor taste for food, but a big eater, you could try Food Factory for buffet breakfast (7am-9:30am)
RM$42/pax (approx S$13/pax) Link to youtube:

Video only shown less than 50% of the food offered. NasiLemak/Breads/Pastries/Dim Sum missed out.

Oh. The Tower 3 has changed from pre-covid. Used to be pastries and nasi lemak, bee hoon only.

Pauline’s @ Tower 3 offers budget priced food but is not very filling. The sets come with a free drink. I like the curry chicken set and add on curry fish balls best as a quick makan. Always crowded throughout the day.

Grandmama has a weird opening time ie 12.50pm. Food wise is not bad. Try the nasi lemak dishes with chicken and beef. Another alternative is Madame Kwan’s.

Food Factory now has lots of “tour group crowds”. Mostly uncouth Vietcongs and south asians. The vietcongs don’t talk to each other. They shout. They have no qualms cutting queue. Anyway still manageable. Food wise is just okok but you get to go many rounds as you wish. I always don’t understand why they will always label as chicken congee when it is just plain porridge though. And the menu has never changed to date. Food has been largely covered by others already. Drinks wise is limited to weak diluted orange syrup and the dispensing machine choices of black coffee and teh tarik etc Haha

Just remember to take out all your 8 dollar notes after putting 50 into the machine. Some of the notes may get stuck inside. If you come from the FWH side, you need the hotel card to access.

Just to add that Goon Wah has recently instituted a “service charge” from October. And the service isn’t good either. Usually non existent or poor. The dishes will arrive without any chilli (and they have no cut green chilli either) and if you happen to seat near the counter, the young male staff will ask you to take the chilli condiments yourself. Hopefully it has changed with this additional service charge. Lol.
