I think you can check with Highlands Hotel on the access of the 18th floor as you are Platinum member and the access limitations. I'm on the return journey back to sg now.

Hello everyone, I am travelling to Genting on the 4th of Dec 2022 at night, by bus from Singapore. The bus ride will start at 9PM and reach Genting on the 5th at 5AM (estimated).

Is there anybody who rode overnight buses to Genting before? Are you able to check in at 6AM @ First World Hotel? I know that for early check-in you have to pay extra (RM20), and I am fine with that but I am worried that there will be no rooms for us to even do an early check-in.

I have 4 rooms in total as I am travelling with my friends. Anybody can share their experience with me here? Thank you & appreciate it very much!

Also by the way, do you guys have any recommendations for cheap and good zichar stalls (at the middle part of genting)? 云顶半山 thanks!

Possible but need to grab around. It's more convenient to stay at the genting hotels. There's also premium outlet there.

Usually 6 AM no room. Earliest to get room is around 10 AM.

As long as you meet the minimum age of 21 and is not local Muslims, there is no restriction on entry.

Please book the transit room for the day of travel. There will usually be no rooms for early check-in at 6am. The 9pm bus will usually arrive at Genting estimated 2-3am the next morning. December is peak season for travel and rooms are likely full.

New WTS Coach R&R updates.. Downhill gift shop no longer "batu cave", it's now somewhere near the old half-mountain gift shop.. no other bus spotted except Sri Maju and EKS. Mini Potted plant sales, Korean BBQ Restaurant under reno (unlikely catered for bus passengers).

Something new on the shelves.. Durian jam..
