Nothing improved at Yong Peng over the past 30 years in terms of food quality and hygiene standard. I always wish the coaches stop only for toilet breaks at R&R points along the highways and skip the highway exits for Yong Peng, Apparently coach drivers are incentivised to stop at Yong Peng.

Totally dislike the hawker at yong peng so much so that i would spend extra for meals on board (even though the isnt really nice).

Hi, anyone took morning Transtar Superstar Z to Genting and back to Singapore recently?

Would like to know roughly what time the food is served and how many toilet breaks for your trip?

Same for the return trip to Singapore - roughly what time food is served and how many toilet breaks?

Thanks in advance as i am bringing parents/ in-laws and my young children. So wanna pre-empt them.

Breakfast should be served shortly after the stop at the petrol station (if i never remember wrongly) around 0930-1000.
There would be min. 2 toilet breaks for the entire trip.

Rate to change in Genting is horrible. Uae Youtrip card and withdraw if you need big amounts rate is high.

Everything in Genting theme park only accept card payment = so it's best if you have youtrip card with you. Actually Youtrip offered the best rate around so you probably can use it for the entire journey.. just keep rm200 in cash for things outside that doesn't accept card

Did that on Sep. Food will be served around 30 mins after you entered Malaysia. For leaving genting it's probably 1-2 hours later when they started to go on the highway. Toilet break would be 2 times but my recommendation is...just don't drink too much water 2-3 hours before the trip and be sure to go toilet before the bus going on highway no matter you are urgent or not

Do you have the YouTrip card? The card is what you need because it can be swiped at the POS terminal as a MasterCard.

Tomorrow weekends (26-29Nov), I am a solo recce trip for 3-4 days at Genting Highland prior to my family trip 3-5dec.

Let me know if u wish to check out any info there.. I tried my best during my gaming breaks. SGD to MYR exchange rate falling.. less 20RM every $1000 exchanged.

I had Youtrip, Resolut and cardless mobile TnG.

Dear Gurus

Need some advice.

Going up to Genting in December, bringing parents+kids. Got the WTS package with resort hotel, they mentioned need membership card before able to check in. Been many years since I went up, dunno where the card is liao. However, managed to link the rewards account to newly set up online account.

1. I tried to do replacement of card online but my ID in the GR is nric. Online renewal requires to key pp/ic then upload a copy. Can someone advise how to key this portion? Key NRIC then upload new pp? Or upload IC?

Concerned cos with elderly n kids then saw that the mentioned queue here is 4hrs? Mine silver tier only.

2. Any recommendations on kids-friendly activities?

3. If not replacing sg sim card, what wifi router is recommended? Changi wifi need to collect at the airport so quite inconvenient. Any reviews on Yogofi? Need something that can connect at least 10 devices (or i can get 2 for 5 devices each).

4. Years ago when we go it's like quite safe. Not sure if it's still the same after many years now?

Regret never check here earlier if not will hire private car to go up instead. Hopefully everything else goes smoothly.

1. SkyWorlds outdoor theme park which requires entry ticket, though not fully open.
2. Skytropolis indoor theme park, no entry ticket required, in shopping mall

There is nothing really fantastic at MingAn@YongPeng, the Ramly burgers and Hotplate noodles quite popular previously, but the houseflies infested eatery could be a turnoff for many.
Time wasting wait also one of the main reason I opted for Transtar Club-Z.

I got my physical Youtrip card via mail on the 4th day I downloaded the mobile app and register.
