Want to ask, does highland hotel room require to pay deposit during check in ?

Just booked my feb free room, i recall many many years ago need to pay rm200 per night deposit.

not required deposit + HH no need pay tourism tax anymore

some hotel in genting still need pay tourism tax think bcos some part belong to pahang some part belong to selangor

The deluxe one is like a slightly better version of first world.. The window handle even dropped out... Premier is much better. I booked deluxe at Highlands cause we booked crockfords for 4 pax, but thought might be too squeezy.. End up the deluxe room really cmi... So 4 squeeze one room at crockfords, one sleep on couch.

The landslide was another route from Ipoh side~ I just drove up on 23rd, came down on 25th, not affected~

Up/down hill no jam. Jam is at those Highway otw to genting. Morning 7.30 bus, reached at around 6pm. Just few days back.

last mth drove up on a sunday left jb hse at 5.30am reached genting htl at 10am. incl time for a break at pagoh. otw back left genting on a thurs at 1130am reached jb at 6pm with a pagoh break. for those driving this is quite a best time.

Before covid, its 3GP for casino meals, now its 6GP.
But if you played at Gold/Plat , it would be 0 GP if played and hit exceed certain TP.
(5TP get 0GP free meal at Peace Cafe/Hanburger, 35TP at Fortune, sometimes 100+TP get concert tix)

If you want more benefits, best try to get yourself a gold card.
Gold card holders generally got more free rooms offers, after visited Genting 4x staying FWH in a year, they started to give me free 3D2N rooms in HH.

Fastest non-gaming way is to get gold card, was buy some luxury items at participating outlets at Member Day (8th/18th/28th each month), it is 3x or 5x reward points.
CNY shopping for clothings, shoes, luxury bags, watches, etc.. would be one way to get such points.
