Hi can I check, I have booked a room at resort hotel for february, however my membership account is still using old passport number, and I have changed passport, can I still check in successfully using the new passport? Thanks alot

hi, I just returned. Can is can, but you must first do the card renewal online before you go. so they will update the passport number in the system. I called and verified before I went cos I was afraid also and they said they have updated. I was able to check in using my new passport at the self check in kiosk this way- because they would require you to scan your passport and they will retrieve the booking automatically.

You will be surprised that the staff will ask 'did you bring your old passport'? That was what one of my family member encountered 2 months ago. Who will bring old passport when new one is available.

Without the old passport you will encounter problem to self check in at the automated kiosks. However you can still check in at the manual counter but be prepared to wait a bit longer while the staff check your details.

If cannot do in time, maybe can go counter? Not sure about resort hotel, but first world got RM15 surcharge if go counter.

I did the same and sent email to inform about new PP details few weeks before my family member travelled there. The CSO confirmed all are well updated. However on the day of check-in still encountered problem. Fortunately the booking confirmation QR code received few days before the trip via email was on hand to show them and check in was successful. Didn't even went to membership counter to update card details as queue was extremely long and was only done next morning. So in general good to inform by email in advance and bring along the booking confirmation email with QR code.

For those that arrive but due to renewal have no card to goin casino. Can enter skycasino and go level 2 to red colour card dispensal card machine get temp red card to play first. Default Password is 123456. Remember to go genting ATM to withdraw red card money balance out after u queue up and get renewal genting membership card.

Hi guys, anyone know the difference between highland hotel premier room vs deluxe room, which is better?

The price of premier room more expensive but i see the layout is about the same.

Premier room is definitely much better as it’s newer/renovated and has espresso machine.

Deluxe has bathtub if u are looking for it.

Sorry for noob question. Is there any alternative way to go down to Chin Swee Temple and Premium Outlets than Cable cars? The cable cars will be on maintenance when I'm there.....

No they don't charge already. Just came back last week.
Yes the coffee is free, comes in capsules.

Some deluxe room look very worn down and very dark. Get premier room if you can.

I took grab to Chin Swee temple from FWH in mid July 2022.
Just type FWH Starbuck to Chin Swee Starbuck.. I spent RM9 to, and RM12 return.

The vegetarian restaurant food quite nice.

I am there too, but 14 to 17 Jan, stay 14-to-16 Highland Hotel Premier (0 GP), but last minute to extend to 17 staying at FWH Deluxe (0 GP)
Going their Transtar ClubZ 530am, return via Ridewell 11am.

The FWH kiosk only operational around 10am.
You need to pay more to check in early via counter super early in the morning.. short 4-hour transit rest/stay available at RM50, or you can join the hobo at the bench areas.

Hi all, anyone also facing this? Am a gold card but the complimentary free room has been going down. Last time can get Genting Grand and Highland, but now only First World. In fact im playing more than last time. Anyone also observing this?

Hi, can confirm that they still do charge. However they didn’t charge in 2022 is because of covid. They are bringing it back in 2023. Info is available on https://www.myttx.customs.gov.my/
