That slot long time ago in Genting casino. Now no see it already.

Sad case. Last time that machine very friendly towards me...

I have tried the Swensen at Genting. Price much cheaper than in Singapore. Some items are at 50% discount from SG one, like the bake rice. So dinning at Swensen is now one of the things for me to do in Genting. Also the food factory morning buffet breakfast have improved from last time I visit and it only cost around RM30 (cannot remember the actual price).

Tried once and won't be patronising it again. Overpriced and portion very small, and most annoying thing is they don't even have the soup with the bread cover (that is one of the classic thing to order in Swensens)!

With the amount that I have paid, I could have eaten much more good food in other restaurants up in Genting

It was a pleasant experience at the RWG Swensen's. However, the food really CMI. We suspected that the steaks were microwave oven-ed, because there was no difference between medium-rare, medium & medium well. They were all (thoroughly) cooked. Suggest to stick to their ice-cream. They are still very nice and good!

And, those "cocoon" chairs at the far end also CMI. They are too shallow to be comfortably seated. Many had requested for a change when other tables were available.

About the newly installed blackjack ETG at level 2 Skycasino. I think it is same as the original one from old casino but I have not played enough rounds to confirm. It is with live dealer just that there is no video. Maybe available soon. You can see the blackjack table with live dealer and CSM in front. Minimum bet is RM10 and can play up to 3 hands. The house edge is 0.33% with the following rules:
6 decks using CSM.
Blackjack pays 3:2.
Dealer no peak for blackjack and player lose all bets (double or split) when dealer has blackjack unless player has blackjack then is a push.
Dealer stand on soft 17.
Early surrender against dealer any card except Ace.
Can only double with 2 cards at hard 9 to 11.
Can double after split.
Can split any pairs and resplit to a maximum of 3 hands (including Ace pair).
For split Ace, only 1 card is drawn for each hand. Can resplit pair of Ace.
The basic strategy can use the beatingbonuses website and key in the above rules to generate the basic strategy.

A lot of eateries are serving microwaved food nowadays to cut cost (employ less chefs).
Thought it is just happening to SG but guess it is happening to other countries as well.

Last week I see only small area renovation. Inside many slot machines.

As with other renovation area, the area is boarded up on Friday night. The 3rd level entrance is boarded up as well.

Anyone is aware of any forest/jungle trekking nearby Genting? Looking to hike or even jet boating if there is any rapids river for tourists

these few days temp monitor outside lowest i ever saw was 16 degree at night outdoor. indoor everywhere is just nice. in fact u can feel hot in some areas inside casino. as to forest trekking n adventure activities here i reckon u can get info fr those bellboys at highlands htl or maybe b5 resort htl tpt service shop. best ones are taxi drivers. they are veterans there. let them earn some monies n theyll take u anywhere!

I think they used a machine to cook. Not microwave
All it have to do is just place the Hotplate on it. Then it will slowly move towards the end. And collect them after a few min. So only either well done. Or medium. Well done go through the machine twice. Medium once.
