Just can go ahead and book yr hotel, and then update your passport via e-mail thereafter. I did that for my elders previously. No issue. Have fun. Cheers.

Wah. They very efficient. I emailed at 10.33am today. They replied at 11.20am that they have forwarded to relevant team. Replied at 5.10pm that update done.

Anyone knows if take 707 and Transtar allows changing of dates for return (eg change to return 1 day later) ? Do their charge for amendment ?

Yes they do allow amendments, depending on seat availability. I think it is $5 per amendment per pax, at least for 707. Haven’t travelled Transtar Solitaire for a very long while. Their on board meals suck big time

If I were book long days, I actually prefer booking different rooms on different dates.
Easy to check in on mobile, go kiosk get the physical card at 1030am.
Mainly I wish to get tidy room fast, the room ventilation not really fantastic at FWH.

Weeks ago, redeemed the roast duck from Cha Chan Teng into Genting Grand Jr Suite, the smell lingered for over 24hrs, even when that room had aircon, it would be bad if i stayed FWH room.

Genting Grand window can't be open. But FWH window can open and have ceiling fan, smell should easily blow away.

I lazy to change rooms. So even though half way through 1 person return and we left with 2 person I was thinking to continue with the triple room.

Ya, change room still need to pack. Need check out. If no gold card early check in need to paid.
Unless moving to better hotel or room.

I normally pay to have early checkin, near lift, high floors, mountain view sometimes.

This time round I am taking night coach as person travelling with me need to save annual leave.

Have not taken night coach for many many years. Surprised by the lack of choice. Sad no more WTS because pickup and dropoff at Yishun so convenient.

Will reach Genting what time ? 5am ? Think I might book room one extra night so that can check in once arrive. Then can sleep a few hours.

1. no lengthy Yong Ping / Batu Pahat / Ayer Hitam stops
2. maybe just 1 toilet break (non R&R)

downsides:
1. cold Aircon in the bus
2. danger of accidents
3. reached too early no hotel. Book extra night is a good option. Need to pay RM10 tourism tax as well

Wow. So 2.30am so early. Then really need to book one day earlier.

if stay FWH worst...10.30 am cleaner cum knock door already

For FWH, even if you display the "Do Not Disturb" sign at your door, they will still knock and open your door, in the name of "security"
