The durian Fest tent is up but not open yet. I tried the durian at the outdoor cafe there. Bought 1 Black Thorn for 97RM. Doesn't taste good and seed super big... Will try my luck next month during National Day weekend for the Durian Fest.

Kinda weird the SG durian season like almost over?

Sky Avenue Mall update: Paris Baguette closed down. Will be replaced by Chinese eatery

FWH update: The Chinese 参茸行 Tonic shop changed to serve herbal jelly. It is now a direct competitor for the Koong Woh Tong (恭和堂) shop next to it.

Marybrown near Highland (Previously Resort Hotel) Closed. I think they moved to skyavenue lvl 2 there.

Deserve to close la. Previous trip i wanted to order their chicken burger. First told me no more sauce, I say ok. Then later say no more lettuce as well. WTF like that just bun and patty? End up i cancel my order. And this was still around dinner time like 7pm.

Hope the sky avenue one better...

i going up this friday night and will arrive sat morning wee hours. i wondering if i can check in and choose near lift room around friday afternoon via app? then when i arrive, just collect key at counter.

can. cos i always check in thru app to pick 'high floors' i always see 'near lift' available too. then when i arrive at wee hours to check in at the counter.

last time i was approached by some people given out name card. i politely declined them, dropped my genting card unknowingly when i turn my back and walked away quickly, they keep shouting at me but i just keep walking, then one of them ran up to me to give me my genting card. so paiseh. lol

another time was i left my genting card at the betting table, without taking it back i left the casino, i realised it when i was outside the casino, need to inform the security guard to let me in to take back my card. so paiseh lol

its ok. i also bring wrong/old card up. then i go ask why my card keep cannot wipe, its new card last month jus make only. end up i bring wrong card. just make new one ok le. no worries. hahah

Embarrassingly, based on personal experiences... the 1st replacement card was free, and thereafter 15GP per replacement.

no. its free. they didnt charge me anything. i make new one outside skycasino counter.

edit: maybe they give me chance cos its my 3rd card in 1-2 years le. lol.. hopefully i dont lose it then..

Last time upgraded to gold and want keep my sliver card. Go counter and staff ask for my card. I said loss my card inside casino. Then deducted like 5GP.
