Hi all, I'm planning a trip from Singapore to Genting and was hoping to get some advice from the regulars here.


Among the coaches that go direct from Singapore to Resorts World Genting, which ones would you consider the most luxurious and comfortable nowadays? I'm looking for things like safety, cocoon seats, plenty of legroom, smooth ride, good service and, ideally, no coach transfer.


I've seen names like Transtar Solitaire, Transtar Z-Club, WTS Premium 21, WTS Platinum, KKKL and 707 mentioned over the years, but I'm not sure how they compare today. Have standards changed recently, and which would you recommend in 2026?

I take WTS because pick up from Yishun mrt and also most of the time bus and driver from Singapore unless during peak period.WTS bus is clean and drivers quite safe in their driving but bus tickets are not cheap.

No change to my host. Some central Malaysia friends host changed to other department. No replacement host provided even though my friend ask the CS in person. Was told it was their management decision. Very weird to me since one friend regularly earns points, currently already accumulated more than 7k TP.

Different people different needs. My decision in choosing 707 or KKKL nowadays is due to convenience of pick up / drop off location, safety, comfort, on time reach and price.

Cocoon seat and plenty of leg room would be Transtar Solitaire and Zclub.

But Solitaire not direct because it is double deck and cannot go up mountain. So need to change to 40 seater bus up and down the mountain.

Zclub used to be direct. But my recent experience in Apr was bad. 40 seater bus to Grantral Mall to change to Zclub (or Solitaire). Return worse. Upgrade to Solitaire. Take 40 seater to downhill change bus. At Malaysia custom change to 40 seater to Singapore dropoff point.

Won't take Transtar anymore because I want direct without changing bus.

Hi, I left my apple watch at genting sky world hotel a few days ago. It is now with security, are there any kind souls planning to go genting willing to help collect my watch back to singapore?

I will fund the transportation costs plz!! it’s a sentimentsl watch of mine

I left my 2 tablet at Genting Hotel before. The housekeeping supervisor called me.
I went to collect in my next visit,
I know the retrieval process.

After 3 days, the hotel security will pass the items to police station.
Best collect within 3 days at Hotel Security or more troublesome collect at Genting police station. It is a SOP.
Go to the Genting Police station,, next to the old Genting Cable Station near the Clinic near RW Hotel.
Glass Entrance door next to clinic,, its at the car park behind the clinic.

Fill the police retrieval form. Passport required.

Show the proof you stay in the room during the date,, I used the booking confirmation email and app screenshots.

The police did many paper works, getting their sup to sign some papers, and they return u the lost items in about 45-60mins.

like for me 707 as pickup near my place and bus is clean n safe at least to me + price GOOD!!!.....i only believe wat i see those review on social take it a pinch of salt

if budget not an issue just book private alphard door to door one way S$350-450 . actually share by 4 pax also not very expensive

i suspect rgw cannot engage enough CS
so those resign take awhile to replace

If you see that there's someone accompanying the Datin, getting food for her from the Club, you won't really have such suspicion at all. Ultimately it's up to their management to decide to assign or not to assign someone. My jaw just dropped at 2 high roller friends have host removed without reason and no replacement made.

Booking room that you can't get from the call to the hotline. Helping to get complimentary concert tickets that are otherwise hard to reserve.
Don't know what is the criteria to get assigned one as there are Platinum members without host as well.

Not free concert tix from call, it's free concert tix reservation by the host on personal request. I got mine before. My friend previously from his ex-host without request too.

P.S. What I'm sharing is personal experience.

now me only purchase from de entertainment as most reliable at the moment

The cheapest is still to purchase from the app. For me, I usually get comp tix from host request, kiosk rewards or earn and redeem.

I just received the Aug transport subsidy email, it also specify a RM1000 vouchers.
Genting seems desperate to get more visitors..

I only got a pathetic rm 100 credit voucher
