for me i stay in room min 12 h so normally need a better room

for hardcore only go room koon n shower any room diff

regardless just koon only or relax hot bath, the moment u enter rm must feel good.

Hacken I did not get any comp tix at all. It's fully sold out. Sky Wu unless you requested, not many people get the comp tix.

anyone been to the durian fest? how was the quality of the durians during the 1-hr session?

Is ok. They have MSW and some different type. They serve the durian on paper plate to your seat. Half hour many people eat and go liao.

Last week my parents both go genting. Their phone both 'simba' not working. They
keep tell me phone 'no service' cannot use internet roaming there. When we went during May/June its still working fine.

Celcom Digi works but puts Simba roaming under low priority and latency sucks big time hence might have the "no network" issue.

Roaming is on and settings to auto. But somehow for 4 days all cant work. I wasnt there to help troubleshoot so im not sure exactly whats the problem. Elderly all not so tech savvy so yea. They just give up eventually and use hotel wifi only.

Local SG Telco in Genting will not give me fast speed.
I always bring my Android TVBOX along all my Genting trips.

I got Simba/Gomo/Eight/CMLINK and I got portable 5G MiFi routers to test.
All had miserable speed. They suitable for normal use, but not non-stop streaming as IPTV.

I always top-up CelcomDigi prepaid SIM, excellent speed for my IPTV use.
But if I stayed at Genting Grand or RW Hotel, their in-house comp WiFi got better 2-3 digit speed.
(but they blacklist cloudflare/google dns, which could be easily bypass)

BTW my encounter is some area in Malaysia network is poor, then phone switch to the 2G network.
Sometimes I try to manual search and switch the network.
May be phone didn't auto switch back to 4G.

Personal experience rooms facing the carpark/cluster of Genting Hotels has stronger signals and faster speeds. Especially at First World and Highlands Hotel (former Resort Hotel).

Mountain facing rooms usually mobile data speed significantly slower.

GG and RW Hotel wifi speeds capped at around 20mbps, dropping during high occupancy period and peak hours.
