I went in Jan 2019. Bought 500 Golden Package at Sky casino. After finish the 500 NN points I went to kiosk. Only see 5 GP from the purchase of Golden Package. No tier points earned. I silver card.

Because I never earn TP all along. Someone say have. So I try and check. Disappointed don't have. So I stop buying Golden Package for the rest of the trip.

I heard from a taxi uncle about going Genting gamble, need to ask Uncle Lim to bopi you then need to shake or touch your left leg or something. he say is some hidden secret. i really cannot rmb, cannot google this myth as well. anybody know? can share share?

Last dec, i went and shopped alot.. my points went up by 50 but dec end refresh points, so i couldnt rmb what points i earned also. LOL

Can use the kiosk, app or web to check GP and tierpoints.

I think shop and eat is when you earn GP also earn tierpoints. Play with cash also. But in my case, playing with NN credits eg from Golden Package no GP no tierpoints. The buying of Golden Package got GP no tierpoints. I think book hotel using cash may have TP too.

In new calendar year, tierpoints is refreshed to 0. GP remains.

All along you dun get TP from the RM300, RM500 and RM1000 Golden Package. Only the recently released RM2000 gives out TP.

You only earn GP from the NN chips ie. table games. Not the slots or electronic game. I'm not sure if you earn TP from playing with NN chips though.

Also, I realise that the updating of the GP/TP from playing the table games is slower compared to playing slots/ETG. Sometimes I check after my table game also dun get the GP. Only later in the day when I checked again do I see it.

Same for me.
Better than nothing.
Everyday buy 1 package and redeem 1 meal by GP. Settle 2 meal for a day.

I don't buy Golden Package much because I don't play much and I want to earn tier points to retain silver.

There's so much choice for food now so I like to eat different things and not always at the same old place with voucher.

Anyone confirm never earn tier points in 2018 and still can get into silver club in 2019 ?

Yes. I can confirm that I never reach the required 100 TP in 2018 and still maintain silver.

So really if you dun play much, then no need to purposely cheong TP unless you want to cheong Gold (300 TP) :s13:

Do you play slot?
If buy 2k slot, you have 20GP and 20TP.
If play 3RM per spin, just need nearly 700 spin, around 1 hour play to turn over the 2k.

Great. Silver good enough for me. I usually go there to relax and cool down more than gamble. Stay in my room most of the time to read books or play handphone. Cheap to go Genting. Just play a bit so that Uncle Lim continue to give me free rooms and to earn GP for next hotel redemption.

Would like to retain silver coz can go to Silver Club Sky casino. Earn 2 or 3 GP get free meal at Peace cafe. And GP not deducted. Very quiet there and food not bad. Also silver got priority queue for cable car.

Today Singapore super hot. Feel like checking for free rooms again.

Wow can turn 2k but may not win much. I small player. Not the kind Uncle Lim like.
