Newly-rolled-out app is too intelligent liao - based on your hotel/ room types + dates preferred, the booking system will dynamically block-out certain hotels from being booked on certain successive dates...as they will try to "force" you to at least pay for certain dates in order to get a stretch of days at the same hotel u prefer.

The old app will be totally replaced & phased out by 15th Apr...take note that the room allocation & best price given might differ from the current/old app...just fyi only..

No problem for me after sing in. Problem is no free room for May yet. Furthermore Mar and Apr no free gift, no meal voucher, no NN credit

They only gave me 2 nights in May on 31 Mar. Think they are getting very slow in free room award. Apr free rooms were given on 8 Mar. So I think you just wait awhile.

They only gave me 2 nights in May on 31 Mar. Think they are getting very slow in free room award. Apr free rooms were given on 8 Mar. So I think you just wait awhile.

U got yr May room not bad liao...mine dunno yet. My best guess is that the new system is based on yr latest mth rolling activities to allocate yr comps...tats why i believe you must hv just been back fr your recent trip there.

March timeframe I kept asking my host everyday for the Apr room. I think she is frustrated and feedbacked to her colleagues for the May room without my asking.

By right, you should be able to book with the 2nd link you posted once you're signed in. Srsly it might not be their webpage but malware that's on your PC. cna has finally reported on the Star Gold Coast Casino vs Dr Wong case. More importantly, it gave us an insight on the mistake that the dealer made.

Dr Wong's lawyer said in court documents that a dealer at The Star had mistakenly exposed a hand dealt to Dr Wong instead of allowing Dr Wong to turn over his card on his own during baccarat games in his private salon at The Star in July last year.

Dr Wong highlighted this mistake, but the dealer repeated it the next day, greatly affecting Dr Wong's enjoyment of the game, his ability to play and his performance, claimed his lawyer.

This is Mr Wong side of the story.

I think these casinos know exactly that these Whales can flip these stories. What with flying him in their private jet and handing him $100k in lucky money they must know what exactly they are doing.

Long story short anyone who has played Baccarat knows the dealer would ask you if you want the card to be flip over. Some people would say no and then yes. You can be sure the casino has video recording of this and the voice recording of what he finally said. And the video of what happen later.

It looks like a case of getting over his head in this gambling session. His reputation in business here would take a big hit. His personal finances may be a bigger hit on him. Maybe he comes from a rich family.

I agree that his version of the story sounds extremely fishy. I mean if he really has a letter from the casino that he would not have to pay for any losses incurred up to end July 2018, then surely there is no case for the casino to pursue - either in Australia or in Singapore.

If he has such a letter, I'm sure the High Court here would have thrown out the case immediately instead of allowing it to proceed to trial.

I doubt any casino would really agree to waive all the loss on the basis of what Dr Wong has claimed to be a dealer mistake. They probably agree to waive the loss for those hands that the dealer mistake was made and Dr Wong thinks he can wriggle out of all the loss he incurred.
