I went to old casino side three times , not sure why over there always closed. Maybe the staff all went over to sky to help out ?

I think so many malaysians and sporeans dumping so much money in the casino , i am sure they will be able to hire more people and improve .

Shifted outside the casino same level as Genting Palace restaurant. You can also try the membership counter outside Genting Club inside Genting Grand Hotel if you are able to find it.

JFYI, I heard from Beauty in the Pot earlier today, they are going to closed for renovation from 18/July onwards till further notice.

No slot beyond 30 Jun was opened when I made reservation on Google last week (in the end chose 30 Jun). Thought it would close as early as from 1 Jul.

That's because your check in mode is using membership card at the 3 premium hotels.

actually i did passport check inusing kiosk at FWH before....cannot remember which year ...think 2015 or 2016

but good to know we need update passport detail now

i was reading somewhere that someone posted if change passport, cannot do self check in at 1st world cos will have issues? and those will normal/silver cards have to go check in at counter only?

Do you mean this? Quite counterintuitive as assisted check-in at counter is supposed to be a more superior service compared to kiosk self check-in.

It was only at 3pm where we finally managed to get hold of someone who looked senior at the front desk and explained our whole ordeal. He politely helped us (among many others who queued behind us with the same issue) and told us that the front desk staff who told us to use the self check-in kiosk was probably new and did not know that only those with GOLD AND ABOVE Genting Card Holders are entitled to self check-in. Classic and Silver card holders can only check-in via the front desk counter.

Me too - best use SG IC...no hassle of updating fr time to time.

I also cannot check in using the automated kiosk for digital key. Have to LL queue at counter 1. Wait long long

The problem is the kiosk scan our passport for # to tie back to our booking. We have no means of scanning our IC for the check in using the kiosk.

Singapore delinked the use of same NRIC number for Passport number in 2006. If you have been RWG member long enough before 2006 most likely your NRIC number was used.

Probably won't cruise for some time to come unless still comp rooms and withiut port fees. Hahaha...I think it's fun and interesting for the kiddos.

If simply for some gambling fix and doesn't mind the limited gaming real estate, I think prob worthwhile comparing to the 6-hour journey up the mountain.

I didn't book the free cruise because I felt bored previously n yup the gaming space suffocates but those days when kids were young were enjoyable, family fine dining, parties n all!

wow.. my colleague with family went Genting last week, and he said it was super crowded.
Casino crowded, mall crowded, hawker crowded... why? Periodic Raining for 2-3 days.
Theme Park rides on-off depends on weather.. and ride queues minimum 1 hours despite of vip express queue.

Havent confirmed yet, hearsay all old existing card need to be replaced to one that could accommodate GEM (Genting Electronic Money) data storage.

Next week I visit, I will register and link using SG NRIC, so that hotel kiosk booking not linked with old passport but matched name in NRIC, will not failed when i return with a new renewed passport in future.
