Sunday took grab down from Highland Hotel to chin swee temple eat vegetarian meal.. the grab ride cost RM8 there, and RM7 back

you cant take cable car outside FWH or Highland hotel.
And you probably never been to the temple via cable car, had you tried the 7 to 8 escalators between temple station and the temple. No sensible person will try again after trying the experience of taking 14+ escalators.

a return cable car tix cost RM16, a grab trip to and fro, cost the same, but in comfort.

Oic… no I haven’t tried, just that I know there is a stop at Chin Swee. So you tried before since you said no sensible person will ever try again. Fair enough

From FWH just walk across from Food Factory level to the cable car station doesn't need one to take any escalators.

I checked with the Customer Services Centre as to why those automated kiosks still reject my updated passport details. They told me it is actually the problem with the hotel's system and they need to get these info updated. They also shared many frustrated folks also encountered the same problem but there is nothing they could do as the latest passport details are updated at their end but not at the hotel end. Turns out their computer systems are not that integrated afterall.

Those who frequetly travel to GH, maybe next time bring old passport along for check in. Try it out and give us update.

Ok guys. I just checked my profile in the mobile app, my passport number has been updated.

FYI, i did not send email or anything to request update . So, finally their IT dept has decided that their tea break is over and do some work.

I hope no more problem checking in . Also i received the Sep free room email.

Yes, kindly update us here too. My new passport number has been updated in the app but I still encounter problems checking in. Every single time.

As of last week, still the same. So toilets became default smoking point. If they ban toilet, then dunno all will shift to where already. Haha

Where will you guys park if staying at Skyworld HOtel (formally Theme park Hotel)
I don't think Skyworld Hotel got its own car park.
Nearest parking is at resort hotel across the road?
Any available parking behind Skyworld hotel (open air) along the road?

Yep me too. But I think the ban is temporary. They are banning it due to Covid.
