One way is to take budget airline to klia2 or SIA at klia1 and then take Aerobus to Genting. Aerobus will alight you at the cable car station and you just take the cable car to Sky Ave station. Flight time (1 hr) bus journey (2 hrs) and of course you need to factor in the waiting times.

I always thought I could save time taking flight.. but my colleague who took this route said that there is no time saving as the Aerobus schedule after covid pandemic is no longer as frequent as before.
TheAerobbus time schedule is few slot and in late morning, and you still reach the mountain top about the same time as bus coach.
LPPL minus the long discomfort of the bus journey.

Yes that's true. I'm quite pissed with Genting Rewards as I didn't get any free rooms for this couple of months even though I go up at least once every month.

If take jetstar flight at 7am;
- take grab should reach genting by 10am. est cost S$70+50
- take express train to tbs and 9.15am aerobus to awana and cable car, reach genting by 11am. est cost S$70+12+4+4
If take 5.30am coach, reach genting 1pm. est cost S$45
if take 7.30am coach from larkin to tbs, 12 noon bus to awana and cable car, reach genting by 2pm. est cost S$ 10+4+4
if take bus from merlin tower at 7.15am with rolling reach genting at 1.pm. est cost S$12 (to/fro)

For longer stay, I will go Mid-Jan 2023 to accumulate winning for fatter CNY AngBao and Bakkwa puchases and festives goodies.

Remember buy insurance, since these white-plate taxi no accident coverage for passengers.

No deposit, pay the driver only when you reached destination.

You can now do it online, and collect the new card at extreme right "password-change-counter" which is having a very short queue.
They will re-verify the passport details , sign the digital form and set the card password on the spot when u collect.

Unfortunately, new application for card had to join the main queue and enjoy the 2-4 hours standing exercise.

Normally, we will stop for either breakfast, or lunch and toilet break on 1st day.

On return trip, we stop for either lunch or dinner, toilet break , Yong Peng to buy otah otah and native shop to buy other things. With no extra charges
The timing we suggest (maybe early than 4-5am, depends on how many pickup points and when is it) on _1st day_ is to avoid traffic jam at both SG and MY custom. Also to avoid heavy jam at KL.
Normally without traffic jam and stop is 5 hrs.

+ Toilet break
+ PETROL break
Total around 6hrs 30min.

But if late pickup, maybe required 7-8hrs to reach Genting.
Most comfortable is 5px.
6-7px, allowed 5 small luggages. Can not convert the small to big luggage size
8-10px, limited leg space and only backpack allowed
