Genting FAQ - Part 3

Hi all, anyone also facing this? Am a gold card but the complimentary free room has been going down. Last time can get Genting Grand and Highland, but now only First World. In fact im playing more than last time. Anyone also observing this?

used to hv a regular host. now its a ghost. cant hear cant see type. staff shortages, demand supply probably call for such actions. besides they believe sg customers are desperate to go now fwh also can. of course they are watching the trend. but to be fair i still get gg, hh and rh and worldclub randomly- sometimes stretch of only 2days a mth sometimes a week. its a mixture peak n non peak. so i mean its like you hv to browse n browse often their booking website to monitor your entitlements. you will be surprised sometimes you can get the ideal htl and dates! even last minute i cld get a room like gg or hh.

They just offered me Premier suite for genting grand this month... Last year don't have. I'm gold also..

nothing to do with card status

red card can have better free room than gold sometimes

No they don't charge already. Just came back last week.
Yes the coffee is free, comes in capsules.

Some deluxe room look very worn down and very dark. Get premier room if you can.

i used to fly up like i did for a stretch of 7nights last trip n mid dec. but i had been driving up since reopening and i quite like it and as for last minute extention, its the best because i hv own tpt, freedom. so i did extend a few times.

anyone stay at resort hotel recently? was it newly renovated or actually still the same? resort hotel better or highland deluxe?

I saw a note on transtar website that Z-Club and Solitaire bus cannot go straight to genting, have to change to 44 seater bus at Genting Sempah R&R.

BTW, has the old casino completed it's renovation? Sky casino still has staff shortage problem?

single deck can go straight up genting unless got changes on new year

If you enjoy walk long distance, resort hotel is the best choice..

Other than B5 168 store and transtar drop-off (now no more), I could not see any nice about Resort Hotel.
HH well located.. fast food all nearby when you are hungry after 8pm. Mcd closed at 2am, kfc/marrybrown 10pm..

You missed the 24hr Old Town cafe at B5. The fast food chains are actually closer to Resort Hotel than Highlands Hotel.
