Planning to go Genting this June for total 10 people: 2 helpers, 2 children and 6 elderly people. All are first timers there and are close relatives. We have a wish to stay together in one same unit. All don't mind sleeping on the floor with sleeping bag. Any hotel to recommend for this arrangement? Thanks!
sorry but i mind after reading this! genting is cold sometimes. so dont make elderly people do that. but i recommend skyworld htl for the room is meant for many people to be together.

You may want to get connecting rooms in First World Hotel or bigger rooms in Crockfords if you have the budget.

First World Hotel is quite dusty. Try not to sleep in the floor. Ma niece with sinus sneeze very badly and non stop when we turn on the fan but was OK with the fan off.

Skyworld Hotel have rooms for 4 or 6 people. Nearer the outdoor theme park but slightly longer walk from other activities such as casino and indoor theme park

The rooms on the renovated floors in Tower 2 do not have carpet. So the problem of dust may be less prevalent.

Maybank Singapore n Maybank Malaysia is different entity. That's why there are charges.
are you sure?

i've withdrawn in genting before using my Maybank SG account, there is NO service charge, that's why i open an account here. it's stated in their website:
https://www.maybank2u.com.sg/en/per...atm-services/regionlink-crossborder-atm.page?

Direct quote from website:
No service fees for cash withdrawal at Maybank ATMs in Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Brunei and Cambodia.

I might be wrong or the rules have changed. Cos I ask Maybank sg over the counter, the staff say have.

Walau!

12+ hours coach journey from Genting to Lavender MRT.

Super slow moving traffic and super jammed in certain parts of Malaysia. Super jammed at Tuas checkpoint contributed to the long hour journey.

1220pm departed from Genting. 0040hrs reached Lavender MRT.

Malay said "Pensang sia.." o_O

Usually it should take just 7 hours at the most.

Every end of long weekend, JHK return back to SG from all over MY, not just Sinkies returning from Genting, or other holidaying destinations.
