Went to Hardrock in our previous trip. Took a taxi from FWH taxi stand (in front of Starbucks). Prices were RM$30 and RM$60 for a normal and 6/7 seaters respectively. Journey is not smooth. Road was uneven. Quite ulu too. Yes, as mentioned by deepblue, the journey took us approx 10 mins or less. We called for another taxi back to the hotel (via the FWH taxi stand) when we were done too.

* As mentioned in my previous post, do note that Hardrock had already cancelled their Fridays to Sundays Breakfast Buffet.
I got to know about this hotel through my parents. Initially thought it was part of the Genting Group. Prolly will not book this hotel then due to the distance for casino. However I will try to visit HardRock.

If you want to stay at any of the off property places, a car is a must.
Without car really rough.

That being said if you have car, then can really explore all the nearby places outside of the resort.
Plenty of very interesting places to see.

Any one knows if FWH standard room in tower 1 and 2 have mountain view ?

I thought deluxe room would have. But recent trip counter staff told me deluxe room all don't have. But I told him initially kiosk allotted me one but room not ready till 3pm so I did not take it up. Then he say have but only level 1 to 5.

If standard room have chance of mountain view on high floors, then I might consider booking standard room.

Standard room, found only in Tower 1, have mountain view, theme park view or no view.

Deluxe room, found only in Tower 2, has mountain view but very limited room. Even higher floors probably only have 1-2 end rooms with mountain view.

It is generally easier to get a standard room with view, mountain or theme park, comparative to deluxe room.

Thanks for your reply.

Never stayed in standard room before. Other than no kettle, is there any difference from deluxe ? As in size or other amenities ? Is the toilet the same as deluxe ?

I don't contribute much to casino. More eating, shopping and theme park. So free room given standard and deluxe only. But really prefer window with view so that can open curtain.

Apart from no kettle, no mini fridge, no coffee, tea bags, sugar and creamer, you won't notice any difference between the two room types. However, avoid 17th floor of Tower 1 if you want TV in your room.

Just booked Skyworld Sixers. All other rooms not available for the National Day long weekend. I guess I was too late to book. 😂
Will be heading up with family of 5.
