Is it normal to get SMS invite for free cabin on Star Voyager one day after returning from Genting Highlands ? Or scam ?

I managed to hit enough TP this trip to retain Gold.

Star Voyager has a number of last minute cancellation for November. A total of 11 departures affected. No reasons given as yet.

I have been trying to get them to confirm 15hrs departure from now, they didn't respond.

I called the hotline to ask if it is scam and also because I could not reset password to go in to check if there is voucher. Hotline say best to email membership. But warn that membership email is full and they will take 1 week to respond.

But looking at Facebook comments. True lah. Got haze maybe not good to go cruise.

Stuff somewhere lor. Never been checked before.
Just no lighters when departing as with all Chinese cities. Super irritating. Haha

airport arrival in china can use wechat scan n take a free lighter mah

With ard 500 TP, I only qualify for fwh deluxe. Even have to use GP for Y5 deluxe room for weekends. Unlike last year, still have superior and wc rooms. Sigh

Use the phone booking, u will realize it give you more room types. show u availability when web/app show fully booked.

Did you managed to get 100TP in a single day (0000-2359)?

I tested this RWG myth with my wife Gold card, in 2025, her card twice 100TP each on 2 separate occasions, she now can see FWH Superior Deluxe room since Jan 2026,

Tried the buffet breakfast at Food Factory. More seats than Coffee Terrace but the food area is cramp unlike Coffee Terrace where it is more spread out. Paid M$42 for hotel guests walkin.

Also tried Coffee Terrace dinner. Paid M$78 for early bird 5 to 6pm. Like the food. Eat until very full. Regret trying only on the last day. I would have eaten more often while I was there. A lot more worth than the breakfast.

Grand Cha Chang Ting standard drop. Their famous duck and the lemongrass dessert not nice any more. I am paying guest but to settle bill still have to Q behind voucher redeeming customers and stand quite long. Recall don't have to wait so long previously. Won't go there in future. Have a lot of restaurant with better food quality and service at lower price.

Earn 0.5TP for non gaming can redeem free refreshment set. Available through mobile app only. Redeemable at 2 places : 1. Samtai Yamcha (take away only) and Rimba Resto (must dine in). Easy to redeem and can redeem throughout the day.

Took Genting Skyway to Euforia. Not worth visiting. Sunflower a lot dead and they still leave it there. Maybe because I was there on Tues (they close on Wed). Was there about 2pm. Hot even when inside the glasshouse. Our Gardens by the Bay flower display is much better.

Amazed that by cablecar Genting Skyway throughout the journey could still play YouTube smoothly (on both eight mobile and vivifi). Surprised because Genting Skyway is longer trip and mostly rainforest with no buildings nearby. Awana Skyway also can.

Love the outdoor Skyworld themepark. I don't really play the rides. But just go there to hang out and enjoy the cool weather and nice music. Have the unlimited pass so everyday go in for a few hours. It is the best outdoor area in Genting in my opinion.

For the first time tried the canteen and minmart at staff area. Canteen not that cheap. Some dishes are same price as the restaurants at First World Plaza. They still collect service charge and tax. Minmart also not that cheap. Guardian is cheaper.

They seem to do away with the room key activation once every few days. Did not have to go counter this trip.
