Getting a new computer

Hi All,

I will be getting a new computer and most properly will get it from pctheme.
i download the pdf and saw afew themes, not sure which one should i go for?
Budget around 2k include monitor.
Hope the new computer can last maybe 4-5 years down the road for gaming.
Should i wait for IT show this month to get more discount?? or buy the monitor from IT show?

Below one i just choose one of the theme, any advice??

M1 on 300 fibre and router i using Asus RT - N56U which got it when i signed up for internet

well.. you dont need a 16gb ram for gaming.. 8gb is more then enough.. and get a 250gb ssd instead of 120gb

$$face has spoken. just take his list and head down to pcthemes. youtube has alot videos on how to build your own rig. if you are lazy enough, buy everything from pcthemes and ask them to build for you.

$$face list is better with latest parts. You may need to do more leg work getting the parts instead of buying everything from pcthemes

Monitor yes you wait.

You can buy those from Lazada and then lug them up to SLS PC Themes and get the remaining items. Assemble over there on the spot too.

People hardly use DVD drive these days (even use fingers also can count total usage) and we now predominantly download installers to install games. Likewise for Windows, burn DVD ISO image file into a thumbdrive and install from there.

As and when they will offer limited period promo code (usually for a day) which can be found in their homepage right hand corner. Discounts can vary between $10-20. Past 2 days had been $20 off min $100.
