Getting new rig

Hi All,

I'm going to build new rig, but still not sure which some items to get so do recommend. Will get it over the course of the month through lazada or sls or pc show depending on the promo.

mostly uses for gaming, don't think need ultra setting. for my brother.
normal games like dota and so on. not sure what other game will he play next time.

budget wise, is 1100-1200+- after whatever discount i can use (if there is)

What I have in mind is the following:

*Should I get this or other mobo? Couldn't find the price, only saw the PLUS version pricing in tracepac.
**Any difference between the two model or brand? performance i dont think so, warranty, etc?

****is Dell SE2417HG LED Monitor good enough @ 165? i know it's a TN not IPS. don't really understand the difference between the two also. what other would you guys reocmmend as such price range, say < $200.

I have $30 off $250 voucher, should i hoot the gfx now liao? not sure when expired for now.

the rest i can wait? will only be building at dec as i will be oversea for a period of time but can hoot some item first.

any other voucher to use for offset cheaper item like casing and psu?

But thought that some item maybe can get first, no harm.

BF Amazon some may not have international warranty, and I don't want the trouble to send there and back. So yeah...

Read about KabyLake but it doesn't seem to offer much over SkyLake. Unless you're saying that it pushes down the price of SkyLake.

i think it would la. but yea kabylake doesn't seem like a big upgrade over the skylake. only when official release we will know.

Still trying to decide what mobo to get. Previously was thinking MSI B150 Bazooka + i5 6500 but is there any other cheaper alternative of mobo?

not sure but maybe u can ask lazada to send u an email to them to check if the warranty is it under tech dynamic or not.

next for your mobo i dun think there is any more cheaper for b150 unless u go for h110. can consider Gigabyte GA-H110-DS2 or MSI H110M-VHL.

Your psu can try get from pc theme? About same price also. The monitor is worth imo. But if don't want also nvm just recommending only.

H110 vs b150. Just more features and ports for the b150. Depending whether will you be using all the connectivity on h110, otherwise it should sufficed based on the requirement from your first post. B150 if you get those gaming one will look nice and perhaps that's about it. Haha
