Seems like ST didn't mention the part about him living in Thailand.

Guess that doesn't fit some sort of narrative.

Also, I opine that his lifestyle is only possible when he and his wife doesn't have kid(s).

With kid(s), schooling comes into question. Sending your kids to international school can be costly and a salary like S$6000 a month definitely wouldn't suffice.
He’s already a millionaire to begin with, tts y no stress can jus work for tat few hours weekly to sustain his lifestyle in thai

Of course!

Ask @AuraKUPO
Air ticket from Chiang Mai to sg on scoot can cost $500. There's only scoot and SIA offering direct flight. He cannot choose the dates to come back since 500 air ticket can be applied to the entire month. Means he earned a lot to cover his weekly $500 transportation back sg.

Hope he lose more hairs if he has any.

$500 weekly is nothing. Cheaper than take grab to and from work everyday for a week.

Actually I was thinking more like have a SG stock trading account.

Trade and invest with that as SG as tax centre. Pay no tax.

Live in Thaliand.

Or some WFH job in SG but live in Thailand.

Being a digital nomad then makes more sense. :s13:

if follow him every week commute , really siao lang. after awhile. Joy will become a burden. A torturous journey that filled with regret. Every week do this shiat don’t know for what. :s13: just to save that few bucks.

most digital nomads in Thailand are either doing e-commerce, YouTuber, video editor , content creator planner for small businesses.

they are not working in Thailand since their local pay don’t really pay much. Full time job requires them to work long hours in office. English teacher barely surviving.

some of these youtubers r hiding some truths to maximise click views. :(

I have thought of that and with all the online banking, it’s growing more and more feasible cos u don’t need to carry cash and change cash so it’s little hassle

Only thing is u need to stay somewhere with internet access so that leaves out really back to nature living like kampung
