it's not another ISP. Gomo is under singtel directlyNice to see another new ISP, new offerings, brings up the competition. Hope this is the start of the beginning to bring down fibre prices.
Router given is D-Link DPN-BE7200GR
The routing not fixed after so many years?Singtel.. sighs..
Can't even get their routing fixed...
Think highly unlikely but I hope they offer static ip address add on.
M1 ceased this sometime ago so only left MR for new static ip now![]()
just curious, is the hardware on the router capable of 10Gbps? i saw x2 10GbE port
Singtel.. sighs..

Need to wait for formal reports from the users.
Good thing so far.
1) Using ONT (Bridged ONR), I guess it will be Nokia XS-240X-A where Singtel/WC configure it as ONR by default. Starhub used it previously as an ONT but now moved to Nokia XS-140X-A.
2) Have 24 months contract (with free router) and 12 month contract (no free router).
3) Comes with a so-called 10G capable router.
4) Using Singtel infrastructure, should be stable. May have better routing to China compared to Starhub/M1/eight/SIMBA.
5) I believe it will have dynamic IPv4, just like Singtel/WC and not CGNAT like SIMBA.
6) It will probably compete with eight more than SIMBA. Take note I do not recommend SIMBA at all, no matter for average user (lack of good support) or power user (CGNAT without IPv4 add-on). Unlike mobile market, SIMBA has negligible market share for Fibre Broadband.
Bad thing so far.
1) Using the lousiest 10G capable D-Link wireless router
2) Using Singtel infrastructure, may not have good routing to some places.
Unknown.
1) Whether it supports IPv6 or not. eight home internet supports IPv6.
2) Support level, maybe similar or worse than eight.
My preliminary recommendation
1) NOT for average users who want better support. I will still recommend Starhub/M1 to most average users.
2) For those who consider eight Home Internet but like Singtel infrastructure.
Side track abit, SH changed its ONT from 240X to 140X?Most like it will be Nokia XS-240X-A XGS-PON ONR but bridged. By default it is lying flat. But it can be wall mounted (vertical mount) as well.
https://www.singtel.com/personal/support/broadband/routers-ont/nokia-xs240XA-xgs-onr
SingTel and WC configure it as an ONR. Gomo will configure it as an ONT. Some of the LEDs like Internet will be OFF when in ONT mode. Only the 10G LAN port will be functional in ONT mode.
StarHub used to use it as well as an ONT. But now StarHub mostly moves to another model XS-140X-A.
Yes.Side track abit, SH changed its ONT from 240X to 140X?
According to a GOMO Chat Agent:
1. Gomo does not currently have support for IPV6
2. Gomo is not using CGNAT
3. Gomo will issue an ONR which is configured in ONT mode (Basically you can use this ONR as if it were an ONT)
If anyone has received different info from a gomo live chat assistant please let me know as different agents may offer different info (misleading info) at least from my experience from another service provider, not sure about gomo's live chat agent reliability.
