good ad blockers

Any good ad blockers to recommend?

I think my ublock origin is screwing up my chrome and firefox

Screw up in what sense? I using ABP, AB, adguard, ghostery all no issue. Best is adblock for youtube plugin.

my chrome pages some times load halfway and then stop. I have to refresh a few times before it is fine. (it is intermittent). I tested my connection with speedtest and it is fine.

Not sure if it is caused by ublock origin as the issues only happened recently when Chrome said that they will stop supporting ublock origin

Turn off the ad block and edmw site will work.

would you help sharing how to turn off ublock origin specifically when I surf EDMW ?

or will turning off the ad blocker affect all the sites I visit until I turn it back on again?

There was an EDMWer who taught me to add a custom filter in ublock origin for HWZ and fixed most of the issues.

There was an EDMWer who taught me to add a custom filter in ublock origin for HWZ and fixed most of the issues.

oh, I was also in the thread but didn't see the filtering option cause I was out of the thread after that.

Yes, some of the ads still stop the scrolling bar to appear but that was the only issue left. The overall experience is still better than not putting that line at all.

reset ur chrome lor.
sometimes it gets corrupted.
