Hi guys, wanted to try to buy a mid tower casing from amazon until I realised prices are quite high. Any nice cases nowadays with good dust protection? Was looking at cooler master master box 5, around 100 bucks from sim lim. Any suggestions? Thanks! :)

I'm starting to check out the options for ATX cases too... and realizes that apparently many of the cases nowadays don't have 5.25" bay anymore :s11:
I still want to put in an internal DVD-RW drive..

Right, this one has 5.25 bay. But from the spec, its dimension seems quite big ya (>50cm length and height). I'll probably want something a bit smaller (not intending to use things like water cooler, multiple GPU, etc).

You can consider an external optical drive instead.

But if you want internal ...

Focus G is likeable... adding it to my candidate list :)

I do have external drive now. Just don't really like the inconvenience, hence wanting to put an internal drive. Speaking of which (sorry OOT a bit), I haven't seen a DVD-RW + Blue Ray reader combo drive so far. Is there really no such thing? What I see so far is either DVD-RW only, or BlueRay writer (which I won't need).

Wah, this one is also good candidate! Just that I never heard of this brand.. Tecware Edge, does it have good reputation?
Thanks !

It's a budget brand. Not sure about the build quality as I don't have one but several HWZers have recommended Tecware before.

MasterBox 5 is a good choice also.

For me, I like things MATX.

There is the CM N200, good airflow as front is mesh, includes 2 fan, all black interior, well planned layout, good build quality all for $65 or less.

If you feeling abit rich, go for MasterCase Pro 3. Better in every aspect compare to N200.

Through lazada? How much is it through taobao/ezbuy currently?

I am using Jonsbo UMX3 right now. But i would say you should only go for it if you love this exterior. Interior is pretty difficult to work with and there are clearance limitations when it comes to CPU cooler, GPU and PSU..
