Good website for hotel booking ??

Till now I see agoda is still the cheapest .. Trivago not that cheap .. I ever booked with asiatravel x2 for our Bkk trip and their pricing was cheap .. Any other reccomendation ?

one website is cheap for one hotel, doesnt mean is cheap for all hotels ...

based on different ppl experiences, they would generate different response
ultimately if u wanna find the cheapest deal,
would be better you go check yourself based on the travel dates ...

i always use expedia. den go thru shopback. they basically give u extra 8% cashback on top your credit card and voucher codes blabla. i earn damn a lot fm this cos i always travel for biz. if u wan also got agoda or booking.com or zuji. but i prefer expedia cos they hv 50% hotel sale one

cox no room service ... no reception ...
my friends n i we would prefer hotel ... comes with swimming pool and free shuttle bus to diff places

orbitz uses USD , same as priceline ...
orbitz used to be sister company of hotelclub, which is now own by hotels.com ...
their discount is good, however is in USD ... might be subjected to bank rates...

Sometimes, book direct from hotel is cheaper and can get other goodies that's not offered if you book through a third party website, like early checkin, late checkout. Or can get promotion prices.

You decide for yourself what's the best for you and book accordingly.

If you travel often, hotels.com has the simplest way to earn rewards. Stay 10 nights and the average cost for 10 nights will equal to a average cost free night reward. It is not bad.

Agoda's system a bit more murky.

See the analysis from this website. Also helps if your company needs you to travel but allows you to book from an OTA to rack up loyalty rewards/points.

Cheap is one thing but look at the rewards also. Why? You are SGer. We are an island. It is our nature to travel out. So rack up some loyalty points from an OTA to help defray the costs more for future travel.

Generally I like to book direct through the hotel websites. They're not always the cheapest, but most chains (I know Starwood does this, at least) will price-match third-party websites if you find a cheaper rate elsewhere. One tip: HotelsCombined.com is very very handy; it lets you search a bunch of sites at once to find a rate that the major chains will price-match.

Starwood knocks an extra 20% off the price as well if you price-match them - my biggest score was four nights in an upgraded room at the W Mexico City, normally $550 a night but I price-matched them down to $205(!!).

For non-chain hotels, TripAdvisor's hotel search is usually a pretty good way of finding decent rates.

I've used agoda, expedia, and booking.com before. Currently have switched over to Kaligo.com as they offer crazy amount of Miles points for Citibank cards (10x w00t!)
Their rates are slightly higher compared to other websites, but I'm OK since it helps to clock my air miles

Still on hotels.com as the free night stay can be cheaper than per night stay if travel often and consistent in staying at the class of hotel.

Expedia only if have hotel + flight deal.
