No software is bug-free.

AOSP roms definitely have bugs, just whether the bugs are bad enough to affect your daily use.

So far for AOSP roms, none.

Note: I have been using AOSP roms since day one.

Yah, the bugs I was talking about are things like camera functionality

I see.

I'm on 4.0.4 stock rooted rom and flashed Franco Kernel. See how it goes about performance and battery life.

I on 3G.
Then go to Facebook, send SMS
Refresh AtomaRSS Reader (5 RSS Feed from Google Reader)
Off scr
5mins later, on scr, Facebook, send SMS
Read Twitter
Then in total drop 9%

moi reputation ish quite goat in edmw de

I dunno ur AtomaRSS got download how much data. If those feeds are data intensive it could have quite an effect on battery life, because it's still downloading whether ur screen is off or not.

Also, better life usually will get better after early usage, let it calibrate. And also, GN isn't known for fantastic battery life, like most Android phones (less Razr Maxx), so u will have to live with it. :D

First time I see someone dare to use their EDMW reputation in a positive way. EDMW, where all the bloody kids roam and talk rubbish and you say ur reputation there is good? You've gotta be kidding me. :D

imoseyon's Leankernel has 4.0.4 kernel source merged in. Testing it tmr
There were some reports about wakelocks in 4.0.4, maybe due to 4.0.3 kernels

Stock os, bro.
U bought it from telco and got yakju version?.. anyway..

Those who cant receive the notification for 4.0.4 with yakju version.
1 go settings/apps then hit the 'all' tab at the top
2 Scrll down to goggle service framwork then press it to open it
3 Hit the clear button
4 go to settings/about phone/System updates the date will be 1970 this is ok
5 Hit the check button
6 nexus should now show update to 4.0.4 is Available, else repeat step 1 to 6.

Got this from xda. Credits to them. Tested and proven. Gd luck

Do u guys think that its worth to get export set now if I am going to root it? No experience with samsung hardware to know if it is sturdy or not. Any input appreciated.

Yeah I know about root (ex android user/root before). Haha I prefer buying new for my mobile gadgets but now that u mentioned maybe I will look around first.

But generally speaking how's the quality of samsung phones?
