can someone explain this to me?

1)Make sure you're on the latest CWM
2)MAKE A NANDROID
3)wipe data/factory reset in recovery
4)flash ROM
5)flash Gapps
6)reboot

basically a FULL backup of ur phone.

And i just flash from build 21 to the latest build 24..All customisation back on, still got abit more to go for the contacts sync..HP play till flat..

This mean doing a backup in the CWM recovery

do it mean i need to download the CWM in my phone and doing a backup on it before I wipe it?

you will need to unlock your bootloader and root your phone before you can install CWM

Use Gnex Toolkit, there's a all in one option..

I know our local SG Nexus does not come with the Yakju build.
Can someone help to check which build are local Nexus?
To check... install "Android System Info" from market. The info is shown there.

Argh, regret... Last week in Seoul I casually asked about the case for Galaxy Nexus, and was offered the SGP Neo Hybrid for 20,000 won (~ S$23). I didn't buy because I had no idea whether that is cheap or expensive, so I thought just buy in Singapore lah. Today I asked a shop in AMK, it's selling for $49

Anyone made a nandroid/backup of their stock Singapore samsung ROM? Friend of mine needs to claim warranty and unfortunately i didn't backup my stock rom.

same thing happened to my friend.

My friend went and unlock his bootloader, rooted his Nexus, pushed in the Yakju ROM version and then later realise his front speaker isn't working. Now he needs to send in for warranty repairs. He can reverse all he has done (i.e. lock the bootloader and unroot) however, he did not do a Nandroid Backup of the original Sumsung ROM.

Might anyone know if there is a repository to download this Samsung Yakjuxw ick53j ROM?

Not sure if the latest ARHD build is on 4.0.3 byt AOKP is base on 4.0.3 beta thou..

In short, u need to flash the rom..In the changelog or rom details, it would be listed as 4.0.3 or 4.0.2

I don't think they would check whether it's yakjuxw or yakju.

EDIT: Sauron above has said yakju version also released in Singapore.
