The Android OS is taking way too much battery life....mine could only last half a day if my 3G is on and brightness to the max with surfing the web, rss, fb and twitter feeds.

Only when i put my screen brightness to the minimum and limit to 2G when I am not using then it can manage to last a whole entire day. I think i would need to get a external portable charger....like this one, was recommended this over at the xda forums: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002D4IHYM

mine can last me for a day... on AOKP with stock kernel..
brightness not to the max and with 3G on.. normal usage like check email, whatapps, bluetooth, surf web and at 8pm, still got at least 40% left.

Thanks for posting the screenshot Man.. I am still using the stock 4.0.2 ROM(Used the GNexus rootkit to unlock, flash the google's yakju 4.0.2 ROM and Relocked the bootloader) and the baseband XXKK6..and the battery life is poorer than the Nexus One..of course the screen size could be blamed for that.. Plus its normal to have crappy battery life on a new phone, especially something as beautiful as the GNexus, one does use it a lot! Hahaha

I will try to flash the baseband later, but will keep the Stock ROM for now.. I suppose, I am waiting for a stable CM9 before I root and flash it with that.. till then its stock for me! :D

You need to root and unlock bootloader..

[GNex TOOLKIT V4.1] Drivers, Backup, Unlock, Root, CWM, Flash + MUCH MORE [GSM] - xda-developers

I just choose option 5(The all in one)

wah toolkit so fast 4.1 now ... crazy :s22:

anyways , updates ...

currently using AOKP + XXKL1 + Lean Kernel.

lean kernel super good for booting up , pretty fast ... battery consumption wise pretty good , but suggestion is to use setcpu to change the governor to InteractiveX to further extend the battery life.

Just switched from a Galaxy S1 to the Galaxy Nexus!

Anyone using Bloggerdroid? I can't seem to find the options menu on the Nexus anymore! =(

I tend to centralize my pics and set image size via the options menu but without it, I can't do any of that. I have an alternative which is blogaway but it doesn't allow multiple images.

Anyone got another solution that caters to the above problems?

meaning this bloggerdroid don't have that 3 dots button anywhere? so it's not ICS ready yet.

Works fine on the ICS build on the Galaxy S1 via the preference capacitive button, I guess it's just not Galaxy Nexus ready yet =(

Retarded siah, Jan going to over and still not released in Singapore. :s39: I know some of you here don't mind taking risks with export sets, but for the vast majority (like my friend) who is waiting for the local set, this is quite a disappointing wait.
