Gmarket "most" stuffs are genuine.

maybe you can check that seller reputation and also the listing reviews, or ask seller the question of authenticity which can be use as proof if really your item come and its NOT authentic.

FYI, every SGP case comes with a code for you to check online whether it is genuine.

Generally I wont buy from seller whom have no reputation (you know that meter bar) and also listing which has no reviews.

For those who found battery life below par, give it a few cycles like a week or so and it should stable down. It should get better

Batt life beats my sgs2 hands down with same usage patterns, on stock kernel too.

Got mine on the weekend. Initially had some trouble turning it on. Had to flip the batter and charge it with the usb charger first before it turned on. Did anyone else face anything similar. Anyways after that initial hiccup it has been working fine and the phone is awesome. Singtel only had the white one, initially a bit reluctant to take the white one but not I think the white does look nice.

Gonna get the phone on thursday, have a few questions.

Will it be recommended to root the phone? Or is the stock experience good enough? If I'm to root what rom and kernel would be the most popular?

And.. Where can I get a screen protector?

1) Recommended if u're adventurous and wana do more customization on the phone
2) If going to root, perform it before even setting it up to use
3) Personal preference thou..I jump to AOKP from ARHD(This restarted a few times). Am on Franco Kernel(Again personal preference).Baseband on XXKL1
4) GMarket, bestskinsever(Just ordered a full body armor from them), Mobilesquare(Martin Fields)

1) SMS will tell u the warranty would be voided..But by using the correct toolkit and reading up, you can perform a flash back to stock rom and relocking the bootloader making it seems like nth was done..

2) Not sure thou cos usually purchase my accessories from overseas..
