Yeah, so if the guy from service center missed the check. You are safe, but if he finds out, your warranty will be voided. Not worth it.

Anyway my Nexus S imported from usa has not give me any problem, I think smart phones nowadays hardly has any problems, if there is, probably from day 1 would have been replaced or at the shop via inspecting.

As what others have mention, as long as flash back to stock rom + relock bootloader..I wonder hw the service center will ever find out..

I sent my Gnex to the service centre with stock Google image and locked bootloader, when I got it back, they have flashed it to the samsung image with unlock bootloader lol

As quoted by the guy I was replying to, he sent in his unlocked and rooted phone for servicing because it wont turn on. Hope he got thru

lol, ask them why like that, say you heard people hacking the phone will result in unlock logo. Act stupid and then tell them you will take note of this email conversation, your advantage if you accidentally sent in with unlocked state next time.

I have a Momax case, which I can sell you at cheap price if you want.

If you want bumper case, what I did is to buy the SGP Neo Hybrid case and cut out the rear portion and Voila, Neo Hybrid EX case for GN

Only for that particular gmail update..the rest works okay..

Just build a maguro overnight, gonna flash to see if it's stable.

U bought it from telco and got yakju version?.. anyway..

Those who cant receive the notification for 4.0.4 with yakju version.
1 go settings/apps then hit the 'all' tab at the top
2 Scrll down to goggle service framwork then press it to open it
3 Hit the clear button
4 go to settings/about phone/System updates the date will be 1970 this is ok
5 Hit the check button
6 nexus should now show update to 4.0.4 is Available, else repeat step 1 to 6.

Got this from xda. Credits to them. Tested and proven. Gd luck

Yeah, building crespo took 240 - 260 minutes, maguro took even longer 340minutes!

Base on a processor 1.5ghz dual core and memory 3g ram, geez

Ya.. experienced that also. Not sure if there is any 'window period' for the yajku build update. Heard other builds are receiving official update too. The last time the notification worked is 5 April afternoon.
