Running AOKP b34 and franco M3 kernel. 384-1228 MHz, interactive governor, SQlite, Logger off, SmartReflex on.

Basically I didn't use my phone at all, besides some Whatsapp, Facebook and email. Played SvZ for about 30 minutes in total, it's the two parts where the graph drops sharply :s13:

Gonna switch back to hotplug governor now, cos SvZ was slightly choppy using interactive.

Really loving the new gamma controls in GlaDOS 1.31, close to those contrasty colours which I had on the Galaxy S. The old RGB gamma values didn't have much effect compared to this new implementation.

Anyone waiting for the announcement of s3? Will you still keep your galaxy nexus or go for s3?

S3 is barely an upgrade over Nexus, esp s3 using exactly the same 720 HD Super AMOLED non-plus display.

Better wait for galaxy nexus 2 with HD Super AMOLED plus or 1080 HD and new jelly bean os.:D

S3 has a lot of other cool features too, I watched the launch event last night. But seems very gimmicky, just like Apple :s13: Now it's time to wait for the iPhone 5 to see what Apple has...

tbh s3 seems kinda underwhelming its like a slightly faster gnexus with a better camera and touchwhiz.. and it looks so frickin ugly i take the gnexus over that anyday

yeah totally agree with the previous posts...i personally dont like touchwiz...and i think the sgs3 looks kinda like a step down in terms of design...but the hardware is indeed impressive...just that the screen is abit of a let down..was hoping for a better screen than the g.nex....something to rival the super lcd one on the htc one x...although the super amoled hd display is nice dont get me wrong...just was hoping for a better one since it was kind of last year's tech...
btw was hoping with the intro of ics would be the end of the physical home button....well...guess not... cuz thats what made the g.nex so sexy..well thats what i feel

the price has been steadily going south recently (maybe due to S3) I think Galaxy nexus is special as that it appeals to those who are developers, want to root, or want the latest OS on your phone (jelly bean) ASAP. If a phone to u is just using it as it is u are better off with something else, cos feature and hardware wise it doesn't really compare to the likes of HTC one X or S3...and Galaxy Nexus has lost its "only phone with android 4.0" status already with launch of One X.

and no personally my galaxy nexus didnt hang on me for no reason, except for once i installed an app and it makes the phone hang.

The Galaxy SIII is more of a software upgrade than a hardware upgrade. Many website put the GPU of the SIII as the Mali-400MP, which is the same GPU of the current Galaxy SII. Plus the Amoled HD got many defects, I using the Galaxy Nexus by the way, so think that the problem of the Amoled HD will still appear in the SIII. Some of the screen problems are that at the lowest brightness, the whole screen will have purple tint. My friends G.Nex got those bandings on the screen, sent in to Samsung, the technician say is normal... Overwise the G.nex is a good piece of hardware with many dev support.

And the quad core is not really optimised on the current Android ICS, can search for the comparison between the HTC One X LTE and GSM version and clearly the Snapdragon S4 which is a dual core perform better than the Tegra 3 Quad core.

So unless, you are still using Galaxy S era phone which is a single core CPU, then this may consider to be a good upgrade, if you are using Galaxy SII or G.Nex, not really worth to upgrade

So for me currently still on Desire, Nexus would be a good phone to upgrade to? But One X and SII/SIII is really making me undecided :(
