according to the GL Benchmark, the gpu is really good, even better than the 4s. so what's there not to be impressed about?

Benchmarks can only be taken as a guide, and do not 100% translate to everyday uses. Since the games usually push the GPU to the limit, Mali-400MP do not have any optimised game. Unlike Tegra 3 which have optimised games and many more in development. You can really see the differences in the graphic. Like what kennyboy have said.

I'm sure the increased clock speed does make some changes....but at the end of the day, will we truly see any games/apps that make use of the raw power? Doubt it. :( There's made for Tegra, made for Qualcomm, but no made for Exynos. :(

On another note, if the clock speed are push up to almost the limit, then it is more difficult for the dev to OC any further, in the case of Mali-400MP. But for Tegra 3, I am sure there will be dev coming out with custom kernel that will OC the GPU to perform better

And my friend was like so happy when he told me that it will come with 2100mAh battery when the processor, the screen size will suck even more out as compared to the SII...But I'll reserve my judgment till the phone is out.

Let say if you running those apps that do not need intensive processing, actually the quad core will save more battery than dual core. But if you like playing games that causes the quad core to run at full load, it will used up the battery at a much much faster rate than the dual core.

I see, so the point is, even though it may not run on quad core optimally, at the very least we can expect to see some battery savings as compared to the other phones?

Next Nexus would be stock Jeallybeans (Android 5.0) lol. And I kinda see myself buying it....I just prefer stock Android OS > TouchWiz, HTC Sense or whatever :s22:

I think worry about the screen first. Its going to be the biggest battery sucker over quad VS duo

Didn't mention what kind of warranty though... cos it's stated that it's a parallel import. Really good price, wish I waited. Got mine for $580 but it's an export set.

Sold by expansys so I suppose the warranty would be through them. At this price point, I think its worth it.
