Would like to ask you guys about flashing roms:
I've followed GN Toolkit v6.1, from step 1 to step 8. I'm currently on android version 4.04, build number IMM76I (using yakju-imm76i-factory-8001e72f.tar Google stock ROM).

I plan to flash to AOKP Maguro M5 ROM/Franco Kernel M3, and Baseband XXKL1. Have downloaded the following 4 files and placed them into the root directory:
a) aokp_maguro_milestone-5.zip
b) gapps-ics-20120422-signed.zip
c) franco.Kernel-milestone3.zip
d) GalaxyNexusBaseband_XXKL1.zip
I went into the CWM Recovery mode, but however I see a robot with an "!" mark. Have been stuck at this for the past few hours.
Can anyone help with the next step that I should do? Which step in the GN ToolKit v6.1 should i select?
Thank you!
I think you may need to do (6) again before you can flash to custom roms. But don't do it until the experts here gave their advice.
I selected option 7: 1-Click for All (which is a combination of unlock bootloader + root phone + rename recovery restore files + flash custom recovery)
I performed step 8: Flash Google Factory Stock ROM, as I wanted to install franco kernel (which requires android version to be 4.0.3 or 4.0.4).
Will wait for more advice from the experts here. Thanks!
7 is correct..So am i right to say when u restart ur phone, u will see a Unlock icon under Google before booting into the system as per normal?
If yes then transfer the AOKP M5, Franco Kernal M3 and XXKL1 files into the storage, after u have finishing transferring in those files, just reboot and head into recovery(CWM) and flash from there..
Flash CWM in one more time to try, ..learn the basic of ADB and fastboot..it is like teaching you how to fish to benefit for life rather than feeding a fish (could be rotten) for you to benefit a moment..
Alternatively.. install CWM from Gogle Play and reboot to recovery from CWM itself ,this is better

100% agreed. Even though there's '1-click' solutions in abundance out there, i still flash manually the radios, recovery, kernels and roms.An interesting thread.

Doesn't look correct, there should be something listed either under fastboot devices or ADB devices.
Assuming you have already done 1 to install the drivers, put your phone into fastboot before continuing with option 7.
To go into fastboot, turn off your phone first. Then press Vol Up + Vol Down + Power. It should boot into fastboot with a big Start on top and some small words at the bottom.
Now plug in your phone and run the toolkit and make sure there is something listed under the fastboot devices. Then use option 7 to unlock bootloader, get root and install CWM.
After that you can go into CWM to flash AOKP, gapps and franco kernel. For your radio, make sure you downloaded the CWM-flashable version, not the fastboot img.
Ok, you perform option 8, which is flashing stock rom. This will effectively remove your root access and flashed back the stock recovery.
Thus you need to perform step 4 to step 6 again to get back root access and custom recovery.
