quite good, last week ,i was reaching 1st link shell and still got M1's reception.

yeah used it for just one night, and normally no signal alert will report multiple signal losses but this time round I get none

finally man, cos its one aspect of the galaxy nexus that bothers me quite alot.

My Galaxy Nexus doesn't seem to be syncing my Gmail contacts. I have been updating/creating contact on my Nexus One but I can't see my revisions/new contacts on my Galaxy Nexus nor Desktop..

I am in Indonesia and my Galaxy Nexus is on 2G/Wifi while my Nexus One is on 3G/Wifi as it has a Indonesian SIM card.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

Titanium backup can unfreeze apps like Magazines and Google Ears. But whether they work using your workarounds is unknown.

I managed to use App Quarantine to unfreeze those apps! Thanks for the tip!

issues with jelly beans

hi, would like to ask for some advice here..

I just flashed my nexus to jelly beans 4.1. build number JRN84D

Can i check if anyone has faced similar issues below?

1) After taking a photo, my photos are not saved into Gallery. Actually i have no idea where my new photos are stored now, so i can't view any of my new shots after updating to 4.1

2) I also encountered another photo problem on Whatsapp. Not sure if this and the above problem are related, but i can’t upload or download any photos sent to my Whatsapp account…can't preview the photos as well..

Any advice is deeply appreciated!

No photo issues when I briefly used the camera app on Jelly bean.

1) No problem for me. You can try to rescan media.

2) The Whatsapp problem usually occurs when switching between roms. First backup your chat messages in whatsapp settings, then backup with Titanium backup and copy your /sdcard/whatsapp folder to your PC for backup.

Delete the whatsapp folder on your sdcard, uninstall and reinstall your Whatsapp app. Then copy your saved whatsapp folder back to sdcard and try a titanium backup restore. You should have your chats restored and photos should be able to download.

If after copying over the whatsapp folder and whatsapp still unable to download photos into the sdcard, then no choice try again but this time try to chat and download some photo first before you copy back your backed up whatsapp folder.

This happens because sometimes the Whatsapp app does not recognize the existing whatsapp folder on your sdcard after switching roms so may need to start from scratch.

It can also be a permissions problem, so maybe fixing permissions might solve it, but the last time it happened to me, I just did the hard way and it worked.

The patch that Google is releasing to circumvent the injunction on Galaxy Nexus will dumb down the search functions in the phone. The advantage here is that you will appreciate Apple's Siri that much more.

You might want to disable the "preload" function in the new version of YouTube app for Android.
