Sad to say, if u really want official update, you can join your friend in the waiting purgatory.I did but just to confirm...been looking forward to owning a nexus device but the update is still slow...

I believe compiled ROMs are much more stable compared to baked one.actually.. getting upgrade to 4.1.1 is one thing...
flashing to custom ROM such as Rasbeanjelly + trinity kernel is a totally different matter...
These custom ROM are simply great!!! Stable + better colours + faster speed and superb battery life over stock 4.1.1.

Agreed. Those using nexus but stock rom, I am sorry to say you have not unleash your phones full power!
Apparently what you say is true for almost all Android devices.
Guys can i ask you Nexus users, how is your data speeds on trains, or even all around the island when travelling?
Do you guys oftenly loose connection or can't even get a connection at all?
In other words, is your phone's 3/3.5G stable?
I noticed that the phone's radio (data, wifi, reception) is weaker as compared to my one x...
