What a waste...such a nice looking phone with some decent hardware. Then it's the GN then. Time to find a cheap mint-condition second hand one

Nexus 4 is rather tempting, kinda like the idea of wireless charging.
but yea, would rather wait for 4.2 on my Galaxy Nexus, furthermore i got mine when it was released in Singapore earlier this year
I have a question though for the Galaxy Nexus, has anyone recently faced problems downloading and/or updating their apps? I want to play with the updated Google Search and i cannot update my apps at all.
I am using Singtel as my telco running stock 4.1.2 unrooted and running Play Store version 3.9.16
anyone else facing a similar situation?
EDIT
found a solution, i had previously put a data restriction on Media, removing the restriction allowed the downloading/updating of apps through 3g

Nexus 4 so cheap. Can xchange ur galaxy nexus to nexus 4, since both phone cost the same.

Tried playing 720p videos and found the current galaxy nexus laggy.
Anyone else similar experience?
Or, am i wrong to expect smooth playback from this phone's processor/gpu?
nope, now on stock version android 4.1.2.
Rooting will make the videos less laggy?
i've never really been on stock since i've gotten my phone, i'm watching 720p videos just fine. rooted and installed custom kernel.
nvm, problem solved.
Just used a different video player.
Smooth video now.
Will vary the player depending on the video ^^
download VLC or Mx player.
