3) Which custom should I use? Should I google all the way?

4) Easy to root?

5) Using default charger, how long to fully charge 100% .

Hey, I'm looking at shipping a N7 (2) from US too. Can anyone guide me? Should I buy from Amazon or Ebay or BestBuy? I'm a registered user on CGW, this will be my first time forwarding via CGW so I have the promo code for delivery. I have a POSB debit card too.

Light Flow is the only LED app I know that works well with Nexus products. I'm not sure if you have installed other LED apps that conflicts with Light Flow. If I were you, I would either uninstall all other LED apps or do a factory reset.

Alternatively, you are free to try my Light Flow settings and check if the LED blinks when charging.
1. Download either https://app.box.com/files/0/f/0/1/f_9819841986 or http://www.mediafire.com/download/mimui78i1w1ro76/2013-08-18
2. Copy file to lightflow folder on Nexus 7.
3. On Nexus 7, go to Light Flow > Tools > Restore settings > select 2013-08-18
4. Plug in the charger
5. Turn off screen and LED will blink

anyone used the Nillkin Flip case for this 2nd generation Nexus 7? looking for some reviews cuz I appreciate the magnetic wake , but not sure if it stays closed magnetically too, meaning I won't open on itself :/

I just won myself an auction for the Nillkin case and it is currently being shipped. I will probably make a short review and compare it with the MoKo case once I get my hands on them.

The apps are shared through the same Google accounts. As long as you sign in the same account, you can download the paid apps. Rooting is easy for people who are well versed. Suggest you read it up. Full charge takes about 4-5hrs.

1) Not sure what you're trying to ask but you can access your gmail account from multiple devices and platforms.

3) That's really up to you. Stock is good enough by itself. If you have many apps, you might not want the hassle to flash custom roms and reinstall everything.

4) Easy if you know adb and fastboot commands. Instructions are straight forward anyway. You can also find many rooting tutorials on YouTube.

5) About 4 hours.

AU$13 + free shipping. Should be around S$15. Not exactly a lot of savings and ebay prices seem to be falling.

SG playstore doesn't even has Ebboks, Music, Movies etc. Don't expect them to launch devices bfr releasing these services.

Why wait for google or asus to release here. When u can get it from US by paying just Us$16 shipping charges.

Why wait for google or asus to release here. When u can get it from US by paying just Us$16 shipping charges.

I doubt there is even a local Play store haha. We can browse the international portal, which only allows app downloads. So sad. If you have an account that can login to the US Play store, you can download free ebooks, magazine, music, and even upload your own mp3s for streaming, which is damn cool. No free full length movies though.
