I would suggest you don't clear data on the Google Service Framework. As mentioned above, after that you might get error updating or installing apps and the only solution is to remove and re-add Google account. Just wait patiently for the OTA, it will come, eventually....

wow... seriously, there's so much hassle to go thru just for a simple update? i m beginning to doubt the whole user experience...

the hassle comes from either rooting, modding your roms or finding ways to update your device earlier before you receive the auto Over-The-Air update from google.

You can enjoy the convenient hassle-free user experience that comes with the device by default.
Or..
You can choose to hack through your device, modify and experiment with the entire system.. Make crazy customization, but get things the hard way..

In a nutshell, it's a hassle only to the ppl looking to be hassled.

one thing i noticed :

1. No menu button? i am used to the menu button on the bottom left and the back button on the right

You will appreciate the recent app button, I probably use it the most out of the 3 buttons, it is so convenient (like Alt-Tab) and much better than long pressing (some button I forgot)..

The Menu button is 3 vertical dots, usually found in top right corner of screen. Anyway, not really sure if I am answering your question, never use Samsung device before, but used older android devices with the menu button. I definitely prefer the recent app button.

Yeah, i will just wait for Ota. I cant mess up my N7 at this moment. At least until Oct.

how do we "CLEAR ALL" recent apps?

in my SGS3 there is trash can icon to clear all

3. charging is surprisingly fast!

4. Screen really good although compared to samsung's super amoled the blacks arent that black and the colours looks a little bit washed out compared to samsung's super amoled stuff

1. Pure android phones don't have menu buttons anymore, it is a 3 dot software button

2. Use a 3rd party launcher

4. I guess they are more accurate? AMOLEDs colors are super saturated
