Technically speaking if they say from US tonight, the update should reach Singapore, by thur/friday ... from prior experience ...

1-2 days delay, I can live with that, other OEM still sitting on 4.2 or even earlier versions!

ps;. you can read the comments and their time-stamp", even in US, they still have not receive it as yet...

as long as you dont change the ROM. u can update.
if u only unrooted it. u can update. correct me if am wrong though

You dont have to revert to stock recovery or lock it. Update it as usual. After update, just use Nexus Root Toolkit to re-root and re-flash custom recovery

Ya, technically that's the latest 4.3 Jellybean build. Not sure if the full image for KitKat 4.4 KRT16O is out yet though. Then u can just fastboot straight to KitKat. Else you grab the OTA from XDA forums for JSS15R to KRT16O and fast boot/sideload/flash with temp recovery

Just manually update my Nexus 7 2013 Wifi to Kitkat 4.4. from Jellybean 4.3 JSS15R.

For those who experienced battery drain, after reading some information online (forget which forum), I humbly suggest the following which works for me:

1) Off 4G if you have Wifi access (not ******** but read on point 2 as turning off wifi will burn mobile data if you have the LTE version)

2) Go to Setting->Wifi->Advanced (look for the 3 dots on top right corner)

- Set to Never under Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep
- Uncheck Network notification, Scanning always available
- Check Wi-Fi optimisation

3) Go to Setting->Display->Daydream and turn it off.


My battery drain is now at about or less than 1% every 3 hours (tested over 15 hours).
