need to ask for advise..
wats the diff between. US vs UK set? and compatible usage for the LTE in SG telcom.

Physically you will get a 3pin local plug if you get the UK/local set. The US set comes with 2 flat pin charger.

Internally the US LTE sets only supports 1 band (band 3) LTE network as they do not come with band 7. Similar to iPhone 5, only band 3 LTE on it. If you not getting the LTE set then it's just the charger that's different between the 2.

The sleep-wake function is a known issue. Many in fact all users are affected by it. If you look thru the Google troubleshooting forums, the issue is a result of Android 4.3.1 or 4.3 going into deep sleep.

Why the Google programmer did that was to optimise battery usage/savings when the device is not in use.

This issue is seemed to be resolved when you have wifi or bluetooth connection switched on as either of the connections prevents the device to enter deep sleep (device always looking for or transmitting signals).

Ie to say, it's not the casing using but rather the way 4.3 is been coded.

Hi guys, I have been using an Amazon set 32GB N7 II for about 2 weeks. The set has screen bleeding on top and the infamous touchscreen grounding problem (unresponsive touchscreen when used with only one hand, fine when charging).

I sent my serial number to local Asus and was told to be covered under international warranty, but has anyone sent their N7 back for the issues I mentioned? Will they change/repair it?

EDIT: And I have tried using the touchscreen fix boot img on xda site, doesn't work for me, neither did the new Kit Kat fix it...

You should be glad your n7 is under international warranty. Just sent it in... That's your best bet now.

anyone knows how to activate 3G only on N7 stock rom?

my sim card is not LTE enabled and it always goes to no service mode after a few hours. -.-

Just curious but when did you order your set?
Cos it seems like international warranty for Amazon sets seem to be a lucky draw kind of thing. HengSuay lol

Nexus 7 16 & 32GB's going for US$220.00 & US$257.51 respectively at Amazon now. Hopefully will have a good deal coming for Black Friday. :)

Anybody having problems with Auto Rotate? It's working if you force it with with screen rotation but apps do not automatically rotate..
