Not much of a difference for me. Nexus 4 user here.

Try out their new ART! It does generally run the device and apps faster!
What it does is to precompile apps on install, so they can run as efficient as native apps.
This does increase HDD space required for each app.

Steps:
1. Go to Settings
2. Go to Developer options
[IF you don't see any developer options] go to about tablet and repeatedly click your build number.
3. Select runtime: use ART

DISCLAIMER: this is still an experimental build, it is possible that some apps are not working. Somebody is compiling a list of tested apps: List of broken apps in Android RunTime (ART)

PS: If you don't like it, it's easy to switch back (and forth). However, the process takes a while since they need to recompile each app you have installed.

gotten a N7 locally for around 1 week, love it so far but just notice a small dot that maybe dust stuck under the screen which can only be spotted at certain angle which I can overlook most of the time (but still bug me sometime once you know where is it)
Anyone know if this is cover by the warranty?

Nexus 7 Warranty

Just like to ask. Will US Nexus 7 be eligible to be send in to Asus Singapore for servicing?

Is there any ways we can check before we buy from US?

Is Nexus 7 carry international warranty? If there is a need to send back to US for servicing, normally how much is the postage and how long it will takes? Is it one to one replace or repair of existing Nexus set?

Just upgraded to kitkat 4.4 also. Ram usage floating around 500plus hence my nexus 7 feels faster as a result.

Now thinking if I should hard reset after the upgrade. Any advise anyone?

Not an advice. But I have been waiting for this update to do a factory reset. Don't know if it's due to the reset or update, I find the scrolling smoother than ever.

Be patient. Google rolls out its updates in phases as read from an article a couple of days back. Anyway since you all bought a Nexus device, why not root and flash custom roms? That's the big plus IMO

I think Google like to push updates in the morning haha! On kitkat for 10mins now, so far so good have not encountered any incompatible app issue.
